(A/N: Hello fellow readers! I really hope you're enjoying my story!)
Recap:
Derek stood paciently on the door frame, whatching me with a smirk on his face. After 15 minutes of trying and getting more blood all over the floor, I finally came to the conclusion that I couldn't unbottown my own buttons and asked Derek for help. He took his time walking up to me, enjoying the feeling of proving me wrong.
I gave him the fakest smile I could pull, wich he responded his a laugh and said to me like he was talking to a 3 year old.
"Just because this one doesn't work" He paused pointing at my sink "Doesn't mean the others don't either" He opened the tab to the sink next to mine, making water pour out of it.
I blushed furiously and turned to him, ignoring that smirk I came to get used to. "Will you help or not?" I said in an annoyed but playful tone.
He smiled at me and started unbottowning my shirt. Suprisingly, it wasn't akward at all. It was a little difficult for him do do his job since the buttons were stained with blood, making it harder to unbottown. Meanwhile, we talked about his past, since I was reluctant to talk about mine, and he didn't insist thank God.
I learned that he had moved here 2 years ago but he, his older brother Ian and his twin sister, whose name was Mary had always lived on the road, much like me and my brother. He wasn't to keen on talking me about his former pack or family, so I didn't insist. I learned that they wouldn't have stayed if Derek hadn't found his mate. Ian wanted to go and leave him behind but Mary convinced him to stay. He also said his older brother wasnt to fond of having a brother whose mate was a boy so he cut conections with Derek.
He got to his position a few months after he got here, when the former Third in Command turned on the pack and planned on sending a wave of rogues to the pack house. However Derek found out and warned the pack, allowing them to prepare the warriors and defending the attack successfully. He was given the position the traitor had left vacant as a reward.
I had no problem taking the soaked shirt off, leaving me on a bra and a bloody pair os panties. What? He played for the other team, it was fine. I washed the shirt as best as I could. After the shirt was clean of any traces of blood I cleaned my every part of my body with blood, cleaning the wound itself, that was now slowly closing.
"Shit" I said quietly.
"What is it?" Derek said coming closer to me, looking at the wound
"Its closing. I need to get the bulled out." I looked hopefully at him, asking for his help. He nodded and motioned me to sit on the sink. I saw him pull two small silver knives from behind his back, but I didnt get scared. I would have my own if I hadn't lost them during my shift. Red Eyes have the luck to not be "allergic" to anything, unlike wolfs and foxes. Lucky bastards.
I sat my butt on the sink and waited for Derek. He pulled a lighter from his pocket and started esterlizing the knives. "You smoke?" I asked him.
It was unusual for shifters to smoke. Nicotine was a very very light drug so it didnt affect werewolfs at all. The ones who smoke tended to smoke things a little heavier than a cigarette, if you know what I mean...
"Oh god no. I took this from my brother." I raised my eyebrows, unsurprised. 'Of course he took it from Ian. Ian is such a jackass. I bet he's like a freaking chimney!'
"Don't get me wrong, he doesn't smoke either." 'Oh... Well that was unespected.'
"He just... well a few months ago..." He scatched the back of his head his one hand while putting the lighter in his pocket with another, looking at the silver knives placed on the sink next to me.
