Chapter 2- Convincing him

Shalini works as a head secretary in a well known company in Chennai. Reaching her office car parking she parked her car and checked herself in the front mirror and taking her belonging she left the car and reached her office on the fifth floor and began her work.She was immersed in her work until her stomach grumbled in hunger .Noticing the time as 2 she took lunch and made her way out of the cabin. Taking a place at the corner table of the canteen she begins eating.

" ena Shalini Inaiku epavu pola late ah tha lunch ah,early ah vantha ellaru kudayu sapdala illa?" asked her colleague nethran.

"asusual work irunthuchu atha late " she said with small smile.

"summa solathinga Shalini ,niga thaniya sapdarakaga tha epavu late ah varinganu office la ellarukum nala theriyu" 

Her reply was just a smile as if acknowledging what he said. Infact that was the truth , she does not mingle a lot with her office mates. She always avoided speaking much with office mates ,but that does not mean they saw her as an arrogant woman. Even though she does not mingle much with them ,she has always been kind to all her colleagues. The only reason she was an introvert in her office is to keep her personal and professional life separate .None of her colleagues were aware of her personal life.

" Ipdi siricha samalichurunga , seri na kelambaran en break mudinjuthu" said nethran and bid bye from her.

Shalini was completely enjoying her veg briyani made by selvi Amma until her phone started ringing , noticing the caller I'd "MITHUN '' a smile appeared in her face. Even though she was a silent person for colleagues she has always been a joivial person for the people in her personal life. Sliding the answer button she began to speak

shalini:Sollu da nallavane, ena inerathula call pani iruka

Mithun: Suma tha di, enga office laya 

shalini: Mani 2 aguthu na vera enga iruka poran , office LA than lunch break sapda vantha

Mithun: ni engayo irunthutu po, ama en partner enga?

shalini:athana patha ena da paiyanuku nama Mela pasam pongu thanu !

Mithun: ena di ipdi sollita ni illama enaku Epdi di avan kedachu irupan 

Shalini: Dai odambu ethachu seri illaya?

Mithun: yen dim

Shalini: illa niya ya da un partner a vitu kuduthu pesara?

Mithun: APA na sonatha nambitiya ? ipdi Pacha mana irukiya di, un melayachu enaku pasam achu chi chi

shalini: athu thana Pathan po da, un partner veetula tha nala thungitu irukan 

mithun: oo seri APA na veetuku poi en partner kitaiya pesikara

shalini: veetuku poraiya? Ni office polaya?

mithun: Illa enaku Inaiku leave, na veetuku poi en partner kuda jolly a time spend poda, ni illama nanga nimathiya iruka poram

shalini: enamo panunga da avanu thaniya tha iruka ,selvi Amma matu tha irukanga ,selvi Amma va thola panama iruntha pothu

mithun: nanga yen di avungala thola pana porom

shalini: uhhum, pona thada va niga pana velaila avunga pavam da rendu naal polambi thalitanga

Mithun:seri di nanga ethuvu pana maton

shalini:panama iruntha seri, okay bye enaku work time achu

mithun: seri d bye

Disconnecting the call she went to her cabin after half-an-hour, when she entered into cabin again her mobile started ringing . seeing the caller I'd she made herself ready as she if dealing with the person in the call was that difficult and slide answer it.

As silence remained other side of the call she decided to break the silence

shalini: Seri sorry, ni thungum pothu na sollama vanthathu thappu tha.

Silence was the answer. She waited for a minute and again began to speak 

shalini: Na inaiku seekram vanthutu ,dinner Ku veliya polanu Pathan ,sir Kovama iruntha no problem cancel paniralam

"No cancelling, nama porom" immediately a reply came from the other side.

shalini: apada pestiya ,ipa ok dinner pola

" super enaku double ok" an enthusiastic reply was heard 

shalini: ok polom, Ama un partner veetuku varanu sona vantana

other side: inu illa 

shalini: seri ok , avan vantha spend some time with him athukulla na vanthuruvan

Other side: ok bye 

shalini: bye

Disconnecting the call she began her work and again was completely immersed in it until the clock striked 6pm. Turning off her system and packing her things she left the office and drove her car to her home.

Reaching her home and parking her car she opened her door ,entering the house and locking the door behind she felt the arms hugging her around her thighs .Instantly she smiled and looked down at her 6 year old man hugging her legs 

" welcome home Amma"

She smiled at him.
