Morning Shalini was the one to be awake early. The first sight she saw when she opened her eyes was Arjun’s calm Face. He was protectively holding aadhya close to him with His left Hand under aadhya’s head and holding her closer to him productively and right holding Shalini’s hand which was on aadhya. When Shalini saw him holding her hands a smile crept on her face unknowingly. She did not realize that she was staring at him until he tossed himself on bed and removed the hold from her Hand and that brought her to reality. She sighed and got out of the bed and left to washroom. She came after sometime and saw Arjun was sitting beside aadhya and tapping her to sleep.
Shalini: elunthu tingala
Arjun: shh...avala eluthuntu ipa tha thirumbavu Thungara… he whispered .
Shalini: oh.. Seri niga poi refresh aitu vanga na avala pathukara..
Arjun: illa na na pathukara
Shalini: sona…
Before she could speak, aadhya started to cry but was still sleepy. Arjun immediately took her in arms and made her lay on his shoulders and started to rock her . Just in few minutes, aadhya was asleep again. Shalini smiled seeing them
“ He will definitely be the best dad…” her heart told her.
( I wrote this chapter after Ashwin's story with kani akka's daughter.. And this is what I felt when I saw the story.. The way he was holding her protective I loved loved it)
“ But not for your kids” her mind warned her about the reality.
Arjun: ena yosichuta nikara?
Shalini just shook head with a smile. Arjun put aadhya back to bed and placed some pillows on both the sides and left for the washroom. Shalini sighed and moved out of the room .
Pavi: eluntha cha?
Shalini: konja neram achu
Pavi: Arjun elunthu tara?
Shalini: ah refresh aga poi irukaru
Pavi: athukula yen elunthutaru inu konjo neram thungi iruka vendiyathu thana
Shalini: illa na kulika pona apa paapa eluthuta pola… na varum pothu avala thunga vechutu iruntharu atha eluthu taru.
Pavi: oh.. Athunala tha na avala unga kuda paduka vida matanu sona paru ivalo seekram elupi vituta paavam avuruka inaki oru naal thana rest kedaiku.
Shalini: ithula ena iruku.. Avuru epavu elunthu kara Time tha
Pavi: oh apa seri.. Nethu rendu peraiyu romba paduthitala
Shalini: illa illa athu Ella rendu Peru nala jolly ya vilayadi tu th irunthanga.. Avungala thunga othaka veikara kula na tha oru vali agitan.. She said, rolling her eyes.
Pavi chuckled at her.
Pavi: oru naal uh ka ipadi solara unaku nu oru paapa Vanta ena panuva… ithu Ella ipava palagikonga.. Pinadi use agum ..she said teasingly
Shalini just faked a smile which did not reach her eyes which was noticed by pavi. Pavi noticed both Arjun and Shalini right after they came home yesterday, they both were friendly and normal but usual intimacy (not physical ) between the newlyweds was missing between them. She also noticed the same when she visited Arjun’s house to invite them for virunthu and when Shalini was hurt. She decided to speak to Shalini about it later and made a plan in her mind. ( ena plan nu keela pathukonga)
Arjun came after some time with aadhya.
Shalini: yeii elunthu tiya
Aadhya: oh
