Next day nithi woke up hearing a knock on the door. She saw Shalini laying on her lap and cuddling into her like a kid, her heart ached, she caressed her head and made her lie on the pillow.
She opened the door and found Arjun standing..her Anger increased and she did not face him and stood in the doorway.
Arjun: Shalini..
Nithi: ava thungara .. She said in a stern voice without facing him.
Arjun: Oh Seri elupa venda.. Na en things matu eduthu kava?

Arjun understood she knew everything with her behavior towards him. He was not able to face her and he looked down.
Nithi just left the room seeing him standing there like a statue. Arjun went inside the room and saw Shalini who was asleep, her face was pale , she had dark circles around her eyes and her lips were dry, the traces of dry tear marks were on her face.
He understood she had cried but he somehow felt relaxed after knowing that she shared what was in her heart to someone and not stressing herself keeping it within her. He took his things and left for shruthi's room.
Nithi came to the room after Arjun went and sat on the couch seeing Shalini. Shalini woke up ½ hour and saw nithi.

Nithi: thonala ..she said smiling at her.

Nithi just nodded. She was not at All surprised to see Shalini to be this casual because she knew that this was just an act to hide her sorrow. After all this is what Shalini does all the time just to act normal so anyone would not be worried for her.
Shalini refreshed herself and gave Nithi a dress and necessaries . After refreshing, both went down for breakfast . Jaya ma was arranging the dishes on the table.

Jaya: illa da ni nithi kuda ukaru avuluku thaniya sapda kastama iruku illa.
