They reached Salem by that Night. Prakash’s family where staying at his granparents house and Saranya’s family, arjun and shalini where at a hotel which was nearby their house.

This helped prakash to excute his plan  to make Arjun stay away from shalini. He believed making him stay away and creating a distance will make arjun realize more and soon open up. After all distance in a relationship will only make the people in it more closer and prakash believed it as he has once experienced it.

The next day, prakash came to the hotel where they stayed and took arjun with him in the name of helping for the wedding arrangements. He kept arjun busy though out the day and also made sure that arjun was not able to make call to shalini or even a text to her. Arjun reached the hotel room only after shalini was asleep. The next day was also the same.

Arjun was completely irritated with prakash as he was completely giving some silly reasons and works. Arjun was yearning to talk just a word to shalini but prakash was making it impossible. To say the truth prakash’s plan was working great. He thought he would talk to her at least when he returned to the room but to his un fortune she was asleep when he returned and that to in Saranya’s room. He got their room key from Saranya who attended shalini’s phone and opened the door for him. Not wanting to disturb her he went to their room as next day was mehandi and everyone has to stay in the same place and prakash can not stop him from talking  to her.

Next day as arjun thought they where at the same place in the party hall of the hotel they where staying but still they could not talk as she was always with the girls gang.

Arjun was seated with prakash where the circular tables were arranged At the distance from the place shalini was seated with others. Arjun kept stealing glances at her while she was busy talking and giggling with her new found friends.

Shalini was watching Saranya’s hands getting beautifully stained by the mehandi artist.

“ Next yaruku podanu” another mehandi artist who was designing for the guests asked.

Saranya: shalini ni potuko..po

Saranya: seri seri unaku pasichalu prechana illa ..ipa Kai ya neetu

Shalini pouted at her and stretched her arms to the artist.
