Chapter 68 - Parting ways

Shalini groaned in her sleep when she felt disturbed by someone shaking her and blabbering something which she did not hear clearly but she was sure that it was to wake her up. For a person who was awake the whole night pondering on her miserable life and just slept off in early morning the disturbance was hell irritated.

“ please Arjun enaku thookam varuthu.. Konja neram elupathinga”

She said and swayed the arms which was shaking her away and pulled the blanket and snuggled into.

“ arjun anna Una elupanu na ni un mamiyar veetula irukunu di , ithu en mamiyar veetu”

Something dawned shalini and jerking she sat up on the bed and was full awake and scanning the surrounding and realized that she was in her home and found one who disturbed her sleep standing in front of her.

Shalini: krithi?..

Krithi: krithi ya tha.. Inga vanthu 10 naal ah aachu inu arjun elupatha gara..

Shalini did not reply for that.

Shalini: ethuku di elupuna?

Krithi: ni thana di engayo poganu Kalaila elupi vidunu sona..

Shalini: Ama Ila.. Seri di na ready agitu poran.. Ama ni clg pogalaya?

Shalini face palmed herself mentally.

Shalini: ah.. Enaku illa na friend ah paka poran illa avuluku … etho oru client appointment ah… Ena pathutu apdiya anga poganunu sona..

Krithi: oh.. Irunthalu paravala di.. Please vitona poiru.. Paru na ipa kuda ready tha.. Ni veliya pogalana nan un vadilaya poi irupan Ana ni tha veliya poraiya..

Shalini: di un college vera pakam iruku na vera pakam poran dii.. Purinjuko..

Krithi: di please di.. Important project work submit pananu di illana na leave potruvan.. Please di please di..

Shalini: ayoo seri .. Na ready agitu varanu.. Athukula ready ya iru late pana tension airuvan..

Krithi: thank you so much di.. Na 2 minutes la ready airuvan.. Ni poi ready aitu va…

Shalini nodded and left to the washroom.

Two days after returning from Salem shalini came to her parents home. In those two days both shalini and arjun avoided each other and shalini stayed in Sruthi’s room in the name of helping her with the baby.  Just with their behavior others understood that something is wrong between them so they did not question her when she wanted to visit her parents. They thought the separation and missing would help them solve their problems

Shalini did not speak to arjun even when she wanted to inform him about her visit to her parents she just asked to jaya and vishwa when he was present so Vishwa pa dropped shalini at her home. Shalini did not even try to make a call or msg to arjun and also did not attended or reply when he called or messaged her.  

She managed her parents saying some silly reasons. She tried her best to be normal when she was with others but still locked herself in her room to avoid getting caught for her worried face. As krithi vacated hostel and was staying in shalini’s room after their love confession to family , it was difficult for shalini to be openly worried even in her room. She was dying within herself. Somehow she passed ten days in her home without getting caught or that is what she thought.
