Logan was sleeping soundly next to the fire place, enjoying the nice tranquility of a deep dreamless sleep, until suddenly he was awoken by a kick to the ribs.
Coughing and holding his side he blinked a few times for his eyes to adjust to the light, quickly grabbing his glasses and putting them on, he focused to see Patton and Virgil standing above him.
"Get up lazy, we're going for a picnic in the woods.".
Virgil looked straight up miserable or at least like he was gonna punch some one in the throat, the dark circles under his eyes were much more noticeable and his eyes were a bit blood shot, he was strongly giving off the vibe that he didn't wanna be there, most likely because he didn't.
"God Pat, not everyone who isn't up at the crack of dawn like you is lazy, it's too early for this.
Only hookers and their johnnies should be up at this hour.".

Positively repulsed and incredibly offended Patton yelled "Virgil! That's disgusting!" prompting Virgil to comeback with the excellent and witty response of: "Your dad is disgusting.".
Logan didn't know what to be confused more on, the fact that he had no clue what a johnnie was or the fact that Virgil and Patton had the same father so he might as well had been insulting himself.
"Don't you have the same dad?" Asked Logan, Virgil remained dead pan "not by choice." he replied.
Patton remained shockingly composed through out all of that and instead tried to focus all of his condescending efforts on Logan instead of Virgil for once.
"At noon we're going to have a picnic in the woods near the palace because papa has heard some rumors that the prince is supposed to be hunting with his friends today and I wanna meet my future husband! So once you get done with all your chores you need to pack a lunch for us, do you think you can handle that? Or will that be too big of a task for you to comprehend, huh, smart guy?".

"Don't be an idiot Patton! He's got more cogs in his pretty little head than either of us combined, I think he can handle a simple little task like packing a picnic basket." Virgil explained, it made Logan feel a sense of pride and joy that his brother stood up for him like that, still he remained expressionless so Patton would never know just how close the two had become.
Patton sashayed away, paying no attention to Virgil's argument and Virgil soon followed, Logan picked himself up and began working on his usual chores.
After they ate Roman thought it would be a lovely idea for them to decide what they were going to wear to the ball, Roman had already picked out what he and Virgil were going to wear but Patton was throwing a conniption fit.
He threw everything from shoes to jewelry boxes, while Virgil struggled with his outfit.
"What the hell is this?" Virgil said, pointing at his waist.
"Male corset." "Why is it so tight?! Corsets aren't supposed to hurt!".

Roman walked up to him and poked his stomach "I picked a super small one so we didn't have to see that.".
Virgil struggled with it and lamented the fact that he would have to spend a half hour dancing with some one in that, already wishing he could just take it off.
Patton collapsed on his bed too upset to even look for an outfit anymore and screamed into a pillow "There's nothing to wear!! I need something fit for a future king!".
Pondering to himself, Roman looked at the floor, wondering what he could give his son to wear.
Suddenly he got an idea, a terrible, terrible idea, "Come on! I have the perfect outfit!" he grabbed Patton's hand and lead him back to his bedroom.

He got down on his knees and pulled out a big box, he opened it, revealing a gorgeous blue suit.
It was much darker than Patton's normal color scheme, being black and blue rather than Patton's much more preferred cyan and white but he didn't really care, the outfit was too stunning to really pay attention to the color.
It had puffy sleeves and a long cloak at the back, it looked magical and right out of a story book, anyone who wore it could easily be mistaken as a prince and Patton was in complete awe.
"Oh my god! When did you buy this?!" Roman held the outfit up to patton to see if it would fit, "I didn't" he proudly said "It belonged to Cinder's dad, you know, the peasant one.
After I married his other father he told me he wanted me to keep this safe in case anything happened to him, something about saving it for Cinder's wedding day." Patton laughed "oh my gosh, could you imagine?! Cinders getting married? Who'd wanna get down and dirty with him?".
