Shen Yue had been standing in front of her closet for a quarter of an hour.
That night she had to be perfect.
She wasn't sure what had clicked inside her, but suddenly she felt the need to get out and let herself go.  Enjoying her youth.
The day before she had sensed the surprise in Jaqi's tone of voice when on the phone she had asked her to sign her up for another Speed date.
Again, she absolutely didn't know why, but she felt she had to start from there.
Tired of thinking too much, she took a black dress embroidered in lace and she got ready for the night.

Wang He Di was talking to the last customer of the day when he saw Shen Yue come out of their building.
He couldn't believe his eyes...
Where did she keep all those damn tight dresses hidden?!
Where was she going?
He apologized to the customer and ran to her across the street.
"Hey, cutie!"
"Hey!"
"Damn! You look gorgeous, tiger! Are you going out with your friends?"
Yue smiled and struck a pose with one hand on her hips and one in her hair.
"Give me a grade from one to ten!"
"One thousand!"  Dylan answered, without even thinking about it for half a second.
For him she was ten thousand even in her pajamas.
"Yay! Wish me luck, Didi!"
"Wait! Where... Where are you going?"
"It's a secret".
"Hey! Who are you ?! What is this sexy aura of mystery that surrounds my pure angel?!"  Dylan exclaimed, surprised.
"Idiot! I have to go now... Bye-bye!"  Yue laughed, and then she got into the car and waved at him from the window.
Wang He Di watched her go with a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach.
"Mr. Wang? So? My car?"  the customer called him from the garage and Dylan was forced to return to him reluctantly.
When he came back home, he tried in every way to distract himself from the image of Shen Yue leaving him in the middle of the street with those perfect legs exposed to the whole world... But curiosity was one of his weaknesses and nothing could stop him from calling Jaqi.

J: Didi! How are you?
D: Hey, Ja!  Um... Do you know where Yue has gone? I can't find her and I have to ask her something important...
J: Yueyue? She went on a speed date!  Didn't she tell you?
D: A speed date?!
J: Incredible, right?  She was the one who asked me to sign her up this time!
D: Oh...
J: I guess she's finally ready to start over...
D: I see... Ok, then... I won't bother her. Thanks a lot Jaqi! Bye!

Wang He Di stared at the floor for a few moments.
A speed date... He remembered Shen Yue's pissed face the day he first met her.
She seemed to want to be everywhere, except in that club, meeting new people in three very quick minutes.
Why had she suddenly changed her mind?
The more he thought about it, the more he felt his head burst.
He decided he needed to be distracted...
He could have put on one of his elegant clothes and go out to some club to have fun with someone... But instead he turned on the television and watched a stupid romantic movie.

The next morning, Shen Yue rushed out of her apartment and began knocking insistently on Wang He Di's door, which went to open with his eyes still half closed.
"Tiger... What's going on?" he yawned.
"Sally's school play!" Yue yelled.
"GOD! SALLY'S PLAY! WHAT TIME IS IT?!"
"IT'S LATE! HURRY UP!"
Connor had invited his friends to see his little girl's school play... She wanted to have all of her "uncles and aunties" there with her.

"Damn! How could I not hear the alarm this morning?!" Yue complained as she and Dylan were on their way.
"Did you come home late last night?"  the boy asked her.
He already knew the answer. He had been awake until he heard the door in front of his close.
"Um... Just after midnight, I think."
"Did you have fun?"
"Yup..."
Suddenly they fell silent.
Dylan was dying to ask her more questions, but theoretically he didn't have to know she was on the speed date, so he tried to hold back.
"Look at the traffic... We will never arrive in time" Yue sighed, taken by  despair.
Dylan turned to her and realized how important it was to be at Sally's play on time.
So he started honking his horn and making his way between one car and another screaming with his head out the window: "Emergency! Emergency! My wife is about to give birth!"
Miraculously, the cars in front of them dodged to let him pass.
"You are crazy!" Yue exclaimed, wide-eyed.
"Do you want to see little Sally on stage or not?" he smiled, winking at her.
But soon a police car forced them to stop.
Wang He Di hurriedly grabbed a cushion from the back seat and he handed it to Yue.
"Quick, put it under your blouse! You are my wife and you are about to give birth! Follow my madness, tiger!"
"What?!"
But before Yue could argue, the policeman peered in the car window.
"Good morning, agent!"
"Sir, do you realize how fast you were driving?!"
"I know sir, but my wife is about to give birth to our son and I really need to get to the hospital as soon as possible!"
The agent turned his gaze to Yue, who followed Dylan's plan and took long, heavy breaths, wearing the most painful mask she could.
"Sir, I understand the situation, but..."
"Love! Love, love, love! He's going out! I feel he's going out of me!" Yue yelled, interrupting the agent.
"Oh, babe! Hold on a moment! Hold on!" Dylan encouraged her, taking her by the hand.
"Ok, listen... I'll escort you to the hospital, ok?" proposed the policeman.
He was still young, he wasn't used to seeing certain shows.
"Thank you, sir! Thank you very much! My son cannot be born in a car!"  Wang He Di answered, with watery eyes.
The police car cleared the way for them to the hospital, where Dylan parked the car and helped Yue out.
As the policeman left, they entered the hospital and remained hidden at the entrance until they saw him disappear.
At that point, they hurried out and ran on foot to Sally's school, which fortunately was not far from there.
