Shen Yue woke up hugging the most scented and warmest pillow she had ever rested her head on.
It was a perfume that she knew well and a warmth capable of warming even her soul...
She opened her eyes and realized that that wonderful pillow was Wang He Di's chest.
Her tiny figure was wrapped in his long arms, which held her close to him in a sweet cuddle.
Yue's leg was stretched over Dylan's;  she could feel his veil of hair covering them tickle her slightly.
Shen Yue couldn't describe how she really felt, but in her heart she prayed that Dylan wouldn't wake up soon, to be able to stay in that moment a little longer.
Driven by an instinct that for some time now continued to surprise her, she left a long kiss on Didi's chest, covered by a gray cotton shirt.
Her cheeks turned red. Sometimes she could hardly recognize herself...
Suddenly, a rough hand stroked her arm.
"I love you".
It was just a whisper, but Shen Yue heard it perfectly.
She jerked her head up to look for Dylan's face, which had closed eyes and calm breathing. He was still sleeping.
Yue's heart was in her throat and her hands were shaking like leaves.
She was not wrong, he had clearly said "I love you", in that morning hoarse voice that made her feel small.
He wasn't telling that to her. It couldn't be... So who was he dreaming of with that blissful smile stamped on his face as she crouched against him in his bed?
Was there any girl he hadn't told her about yet?
Had he ever said those words before, even just for fun?
Maybe that was why he hadn't look at her the night before...
She was overwhelmed by an inexplicable wave of anger and she had to use all of her self-control to avoid pinching him.
"But what if he had said it to me?" she then thought.
Without even realizing it, she found herself smiling like a fool.
She rested her elbows on the bed and got up just to get a better look at him.
She studied the little details that made his face so sweet...
What did she feel about him? Her head immediately replied: "Nothing!"
However, her heart disagreed, so it started projecting images of Wang He Di before her eyes, from when she had known him until then. From when Yue had thought that he was a somewhat ridiculous and completely unreliable character, until the moment she had given him the key of her apartment and together with it every little weakness and fragility of her.
With his funny ways, his absurd speeches and his smiles, he had taken a huge space in her heart, becoming a column always ready to support her when the weight of her problems and her insecurities threatened to bring her down.
He wasn't a friend. He couldn't be, Dylan had made it clear right away.
And he wasn't even the neighbor to ask for sugar to make a chocolate cake.
He was so much more.
He was that good, sensitive, serious and funny big boy, with his hands all ruined and the laugh of a child, that Shen Yue would have wanted by her side forever.
Admitting it made her feel lighter.
"Thank you" she whispered to her heart.
As she wondered what she should do, Dylan woke up and as soon as their eyes met, he gave her a sleepy smile.
"Good morning" she greeted him softly.
"Were you staring at me, cutie?" he grinned.
"Yes... You drool while you sleep, did you know that?"
Dylan sat up abruptly and touched his lips.
"Stupid!" he snorted, realizing she was just teasing him.
Yue laughed and dropped onto the mattress, arms and legs spread like a star.
Wang He Di looked at her in silence... And Yue suddenly remembered what she was wearing and she sat back up, red in the face, trying to cover her pale legs as much as possible.
He smiled and got out of bed to go and change, even though he would have preferred to stay there with her all his life.
"Would you like to have breakfast out?" he asked her.
Yue nodded enthusiastically and Dylan smiled.
Every little moment with her was a huge gift.

Wang He Di watched Shen Yue line up to order breakfast.
That fool of her didn't realize it, but many of the guys in the small bar had their eyes on her.
Yue wasn't only beautiful... The world was full of beautiful girls, he knew it well... But she had something that could capture the attention of everyone and keep it focused on her in a magnetic way.
The lightness of every movement of her and of her slender body created an enchanting contrast with the weight of the soul that her eyes let show.
Dylan was sure that God had given her such big eyes because they had an immense soul to show.
And he saw it... He saw it and loved it.
