BAD NEIGHBORS

THEIR PERFECT MOMENT

Three months passed since their first date, and Shen Yue and Wang He Di were the craziest and happiest couple in the world.
Connor and his wife Emily watched them from the porch of their small mansion, while the two were playing with Sally in the garden.
"Yue looks really happy, don't you think? She's so full of energy!" Emily smiled.
"Yeah! She was different with Jasper," Connor nodded.
After a few seconds, Yue ran over to them to drink some water and rest.
"Woah! Your daughter runs faster than lightning! It's impossible to catch her!" she sighed, sitting down with Connor and Emily.
"Yueyue, you and Didi are great with children! You're ready to have a bunch of little tigers!" Emily exclaimed.
Yue blushed and shook her head.
"A bunch? We never even..."
She paused, but it was too late.
Connor and his wife were staring at her with wide eyes.
"Are you joking?!" they almost screamed.
"Shhh! I'm not joking, ok? We... We haven't done anything yet... Don't make that face!"
"Sorry! It's just... Well, we didn't think Didi could last that long!" Connor explained.
Yue smiled and looked at Dylan, who was still playing hide and seek with Sally.
"He's very patient with me... He would do anything to make me happy. I... I would really like to take that step with him, but there is something holding me back."
"Whatever it is, you should tell him about it" Emily said.
Wang He Di blew Shen Yue a kiss from afar...
"Yes, I'll tell him about it" Yue whispered.

After saying goodbye to Connor and his family, Dylan and Yue went home.
The boy had to finish work on a car that he was supposed to deliver to a customer the following morning.
"I'll be in the garage till late" he told her at the door of her apartment, stroking her hair.
"Will you come and say goodnight when you're done?" Yue asked.
"I don't want to wake you up, cutie... It will take a very long time."
"Ok..."
Yue wasn't happy, she didn't sleep well if she didn't get a kiss from him just before falling asleep.
They had got into that sweet habit: every night, Wang He Di would pass by her and shower her with kisses until her eyes closed, then he would go back to his apartment and come back the next morning to have breakfast with her.
Dylan noticed her sad look.
"I'll stop working for a moment, okay? I'll come and kiss you goodnight and then I'll go back to the work shop" he proposed.
Yue smiled.
She was touched by how much Dylan always tried to make every little wish of her come true.
If she had asked for the Moon, he would surely have found a way to bring it to her.
She hugged him tightly.
"It doesn't matter. You can kiss me goodnight now. See you in the morning" she told him.
And after a long, tender kiss, the two separated.

Wang He Di closed the work shop very late.
Before opening the door to his apartment, he glanced quickly at Shen Yue's.
He was tempted to drop by her... He needed to see her before going to sleep, it was something that made him fall asleep with more serenity. But he didn't want to bother her, so he put that idea aside and went into his house.
After taking a shower, he put on only comfortable black boxers and went to the bedroom. He nearly had a heart attack.
Curled up on his bed in adorable yellow summer pajamas, Shen Yue was sleeping like an angel.
Dylan sat down next to her and watched her for a few minutes.
He stroked her cheek and lips.
Yue slowly opened her eyes...
As soon as she saw him, she smiled at him.
"What are you doing here, cutie?"
"I couldn't sleep... Sorry".
"You don't have to apologize. You know this is your home too. I'll stay here to cuddle you until you fall asleep again, then I'll go on the sofa" he replied.
They hadn't slept together since Yue returned to her apartment.
Yue didn't want to. Dylan didn't understand why, but he accepted it.
Shen Yue looked him in the eye and sat up, then leaned over to kiss him softly.
"Stay here" she whispered.
"Are you sure?"
Another kiss was her reply.
Wang He Di gasped.
The way their lips were dancing together was entirely new... It was a slow dance, but full of passion. It was a tango.
Yue's hands went down to touch his naked chest.
Chills.
"Shen Yue..."
She slowly rubbed her nose against his neck.
"I love you so much" she said, leaving a little kiss there.
"Me too" he replied softly, with eyes closed.
His hands were still motionless at his sides.
He didn't know what to do.
Yue took off her pajama top and wrapped her arms around his neck.
Skin to skin, that embrace was so intimate that for a long moment neither of them dared move.
"I have to tell you something" Yue whispered.
"Tell me".
"I'm scared" the girl confessed.
Dylan didn't release the embrace.
He had the impression that if he looked at her, Yue would never say anything.
"Of what?" he asked her, worried.
"Of not being enough. You have much more experience than me, Didi!"
"I think I'm much more scared than you" he replied.
At that point, Shen Yue pulled away from him and sought his gaze.
"Are you kidding me?"
"No! This is my first time!"
"Okay. You're kidding me. Thanks" she muttered.
Wang He Di smiled and took her face in his hands.
"Little tiger... This is the first time I make love. The first ever. So yes, I'm scared to death. I have your same fear of not being enough."
"Are you serious?"
Dylan raised his hands to show her how shaking they were.
"You don't have to be scared, Didi! When you love a person, everything comes naturally!" Yue reassured him.
"Show it to me".

Naturally.
Shen Yue was right.
Everything had happened in the most natural way possible.
Wang He Di turned to her, who was still sleeping in his strong arms.
The night before she had shown him a wonderful world... Sex was absolutely nothing compared to what had been between them.
He still had in his head the sweetness with which Yue kept telling him she loved him, her long sighs, the way she held him close and caressed him... Each of their movements was slow, but of such intensity that a small tear slipped down Wang He Di's face as millions of stars exploded before his eyes. Yue had dried it with a kiss.
They made love again.
All their fears vanished into thin air.

Dylan couldn't take his eyes off Yue's sleeping face.
She was so beautiful...
Suddenly, the words she had said to him one day came back to him. They had struck him so much, that he still remembered them by heart: "It's one of the most beautiful sensations in the world! Making love with a person and finding her by your side the next morning, asleep... Watching her until she opens her eyes..."
He finally understood how true it was.
He felt his heart explode in his chest.
He felt that all the happiness, the luck, the essence of the universe was concentrated in that little body that was breathing slowly next to him.
He thought that every bit of love he had inside had been hidden inside him all that time just for
be found by her.
It was crazy.
"Are you looking at me?" Yue asked suddenly, still with her eyes closed.
"Yes... You drool when you sleep, did you know that?" Dylan grinned.
Yue laughed and gave him a small slap in his chest.
"Idiot!" she snorted.
Amused, he reached out to her to tickle her side.
The little tiger's laughter echoed through the room like the most harmonious of melodies.
After a few moments, however, they fell silent... With their faces a few centimeters from each other, Didi and Yue lost themselves in the beauty of that morning.
"What are you thinking about?"  he asked softly.
Yue brushed a small, rebellious tuft from Dylan's forehead, then she replied:
"That this is a perfect moment."
"Um... To do what?"
"Nothing. It's just a perfect moment. Look at the ceiling... The sun is helping the blinds to draw all those streaks of shadow! A bit of fresh air comes in from the window... It's tickling my feet!
You can even smell the fragrance of the bread coming up from the shop below! And then... And then there is you. I like how you look at me... I like how your body has not yet moved away from mine for a second... I like that beautiful smile you are giving me and those baby eyes, which remain so even when you show your strong man side. It's a perfect moment.  Being here, with you, now, is perfect. "
Wang He Di couldn't speak. But basically, no words were enough.
So he kissed her.
Their hands intertwined on the pillow.
Their legs fit perfectly together.
Their skin found love again in the warmth of that contact.
And that moment, their moment, became even more perfect.
