BAD NEIGHBORS

SHEN YUEEEEEE!

Wang He Di walked into the animal clinic where Shen Yue worked and he looked around.
The two had agreed to go to the supermarket together.
It had been two weeks since their dinner at the kiosk and by then something had melted between them.  Almost every morning, before going to work, Yue brought a brioche made by her to his workshop. While Dylan kept her car clean and shiny.
"Good evening, sir. How can I help you?" a girl with a gentle smile and a nurse's uniform approached Dylan.
"I'm waiting for Shen Yue".
"Uh, are you Mr. Wang? Dr. Shen has to deal with an emergency... She told me to make you wait in her office."
"I see! Anyway... What's your name, my beautiful angel?"
Dylan flashed his dazzling smile and the girl blushed.
"I... Er..."
Just then, Shen Yue ran past them.
"Leave my staff alone, Wang He Di! Go to my office!" she screamed out of breath, before disappearing down the hall.
"Tsk. She's always so jealous!" Dylan said to the nurse, with a grin.
The girl guided him to Shen Yue's office.
"Can you stay here and keep me company, princess?"
"I have to work... "
"Uh uh. Then I'll leave you my number... Call me when you're done with work."
As soon as he was alone in the room, Wang He Di released a satisfied smile.
He loved seeing the effect he had on women.
While he waited for Yue, he glanced at her office.
The walls were lilac and hung on them were an infinity of drawings made by children.
Almost all of them depicted a girl with short hair and a white coat, next to all kinds of animals.
Many said: "Thank you, Dr. Shen!"
Dylan realized that Yue had treated the animals of all those children.
"Cute" he whispered.
"I'm not the only one talking to myself, then" Shen Yue's voice startled him.
"Cutie! You should stop appearing as a ghost!"
"Why? It's funny to see your stupid face!" she laughed.
"So mean. Wait, wait..." Dylan quickly walked over to her and looked her up and down.
Yue was wearing her pink uniform and a white coat.
"What's up?" snapped the girl, surprised.
"With the uniform you are even sexier..."
SBAM!
Yue's foot flew hard over Dylan's.
"Ouch! Why can't you react to compliments like all normal girls in this world?!"  yelled Wang He Di, in pain.
"Hold your tongue, idiot!" Yue scolded him, tapping a finger against his chest.
"You always treat me badly" he complained, feigning sadness.
"I treat you too well" she replied as she took off her coat.
"I'm going to change so we can go. Wait for me here" she said.
"Give you a hand?"
"Do you want me to break your hand?"
"Grrr!"
Yue shook her head and walked into her small office bathroom to change her clothes, trying to hold back a laugh.

Shopping had never been that fun, Wang He Di thought.
He loved making fun of Yue and pissing her off about every little thing.
He was so busy teasing her that his cart was still practically empty.
He decided to act like an adult for just a moment and look for what he needed.
While he was intent on choosing which toilet paper pack to buy, he was suddenly hit hard from behind and he found himself catapulted into Shen Yue's grocery cart.
"Are you crazy?!" he exclaimed, shocked.
Yue was laughing with tears in her eyes.
Dylan tried to get out, but the girl pushed the cart and forced him to sit in there.
"Hey! Stop!"
She ran and pushed him until she reached the open door of the supermarket warehouse.
She left him in there and ran away.
"SHEN YUEEEE!" Wang He Di yelled.
As soon as he managed to get out, the boy took the cart and went in search of the crazy woman.
He found her again in front of the toilet paper shelf.
Yue tossed him a pack, still red-faced from running and laughter.
"Do you use it to wipe your face?"  she asked him, bursting out laughing again.
Dylan wanted to give her a bad answer, but how could he? It was the first time he'd seen her laugh like that... He was enchanted.
Noticing his serious face, Yue stopped laughing and walked over to him, worried.
"Are you angry? Did I hurt you?"
Dylan's heart melted.
"Yes! You almost killed me with that cart!" he exclaimed.
"Sorry..." she whispered, looking at her feet in embarrassment.
Wang He Di took advantage of that moment to bend over and kiss her head.
"I'm kidding!" he grinned.
"Ugly fool!" Yue started hitting him with small slaps on his arms.
"Grrr! Tiger! I like you like that!" he laughed.
Their moment of madness was interrupted by the owner of the supermarket, who ordered them to pay the bill and leave.

The two guys walked home.
As they walked, Dylan glanced at Yue.
"Come on, give me your bags" he reached out to her.
"You already have yours! I can do it, don't worry" Yue replied.
But Dylan ignored her and took the two shopping bags from her hands.
Shen Yue snorted and mumbled a quick "Thank you".
"Um... My little tiger looks angry..."
"The man from the supermarket scolded us! With what courage can I go back there?!" Yue whimpered.
"I'm so sorry, babe, but who was the crazy one who nearly broke my legs and started running with a person in her cart?"
"And who was the one that spent all the time playing tricks on me as a kindergarten kid?!"
"Well, if we put our faults on the scales... Yours certainly weigh more" Wang He Di replied.
Shen Yue stopped.
Dylan turned to her, surprised to see a victorious smile on her face.
"What happens?" he asked her.
"You called me Shen Yue."
"Uh? What are you saying?"
"At the supermarket... You yelled SHEN YUEEEE!"
"That's not true... You must have heard wrong... CUTIE".
"I heard you very well... Now I know how to make you call me by my name!"
"Can you avoid to giggle like that? It's creepy" Dylan snorted.
Between a squabble and another, they arrived at their building.
Just as Yue was opening the door of her apartment, Dylan, behind her with their bags, received a message.
It was the animal clinic nurse asking him out for dinner.
The boy looked up at Shen Yue, who had stolen the bags from his hands and was telling him something as she put the vegetables in the refrigerator.
For some absurd reason, that night he had no desire to go out... It had been a beautiful day, he didn't want it to end in bed with a stranger.
"Tiger?" he called, interrupting Yue's speech.
"Mmh?"
"Come over for dinner?" he asked, pointing to his apartment.
Shen Yue smiled and nodded.
