"He will hate us."
"He will think we are abandoning him."
"Maybe we should just stay home..."
"Yeah, we should."
Shen Yue and Wang He Di were watching their baby as he played peacefully on the living room carpet, surrounded by cushions and stuffed animals.
That evening their friends had plans to take them out separately for their bachelor and hen parties.
It was the first time they were going out without Wang Laohu and they were beginning to feel uncomfortable at the idea of walking away from him.
"Ok, I'm going to call Jaqi."
"And I'll call Caesar."
Just as they were about to call their friends to cancel the night out, someone rang the intercom.
"Here we are! The babysitters are here!" Ms. Wang exclaimed when Yue opened the apartment door.
Behind her were her husband and the Shens.
"Mom! We told you to come at seven pm... It's only six pm!" exclaimed Dylan, surprised.
"Tsk. We know you well... We knew you'd find an excuse not to go out, so we came earlier to stop you from doing nonsense. Put those phones away and get ready!"
Dylan and Yue hid their cell phones behind their backs, both blushing.
"But... Maybe it's better if at least one of us stays at home, isn't it?" Yue asked hesitantly.
"Honey, you're not going to war! You will be away for a few hours! Relax!" Ms. Shen chuckled.
"But what if he misses us? He always wants me to make funny faces while Yue feeds him... And he needs Yue's voice and my cuddles to fall asleep... And..." Dylan tried to say .
Mr. Wang put a hand on Dylan's shoulder and cut him off.
"Go or we will throw you out of the house by force!"
At that point, Yue and Dylan couldn't help but listen to their parents.
They got ready and soon their friends came to get them.
Shen Yue picked up Laohu and showered him with kisses.
"Mama and papa will be back soon, my love. Okay? Very, very soon. Be good with your grandparents..."
"We love you so much, baby tiger... We'll be back soon, don't be sad," Wang He Di added, kissing him on the forehead.
Their baby tiger looked confused, but absolutely serene.
"Look at them... They're about to cry... Go!" Ms. Shen teased them.
The grandparents literally had to push them out of the house to divide them from Wang Laohu. In front of their building, waiting for them, were two cars.
On one were the girls, on the other the boys.
The two hugged tightly before parting.
"Have fun, cutie... And think of me at least a little" whispered Wang He Di.
"You too... Behave yourself" Yue replied, standing up on tiptoe to give him a kiss.
"Come on, lovebirds! We don't have all night!" Caesar called them.
"Ok, ok!"***
Jaqi, Zi Wei, Xiao Wen, and Emily took Shen Yue to a night spa for a relaxing and beauty treatment, while Caesar, Darren, and Connor took Wang He Di to the amusement park.
"Guys, seriously, an amusement park?!" Dylan exclaimed, confused.
"You banned us from taking you to the night club! What did you expect? This is the right place for a giant kid like you!" Connor laughed.
"Hey!"
"Trust me, we'll have a blast!"
"Tsk. I'm sure I'll be the only groom who celebrated his bachelor party at the amusement park" muttered Dylan.
"Stop complaining and let's go! But first..."
The boys exchanged a knowing glance and pulled something out of the pocket of their jackets.
In an instant, everyone found themselves with seductive red lips.
"What are you doing?! Why are you wearing lipstick?!" Wang He Di exclaimed with wide eyes.
"We want to play a trick on our Yueyue..."
"What... What kind of trick?"***
Shen Yue was enjoying a very pleasant massage when she received a message from Darren.
It was a photo of a super smiling Dylan with a face full of lip prints.
The message said "Didi is being good... But the girls here aren't!"
"That idiot!" snorted Yue, a little annoyed.
"What's up?" Xiao Wen asked.
"I thought Darren was joking when he told me they were taking him to the Night Club, but look here..." Yue showed the photo to her friends.
"There's a lot of lipstick on that goofy face" Zi Wei commented.
"Yeah..."
"Let's take our revenge!" Jaqi exclaimed excitedly.
"And how?"
"Remember how good I am at editing photos, right? Yueyue, put on your happiest expression!"
