BETTER

Warmth.
It was the first sensation Shen Yue had when she left the dream world to return to reality.
And then a slight weight on her waist.
She opened her eyes and held her breath when she saw Wang He Di asleep next to her.
He was the source of warmth... He, who was hugging her.
Her mind raced to that morning.
Wang He Di had taken such care of her that Yue's heart melted at the very thought of it.
She smiled and raised a hand to gently caress his face.
Her little hand rested on his warm cheek.
Dylan's cologne scent, mixed with his body tone, somehow made her feel safe.
Shen Yue blushed.
That was the first time she slept with a man who wasn't her boyfriend.
She had never slept with friends before or with men she was not in a relationship with.
What was she doing?
Was it right? Would Wang He Di have misunderstood?
But just then, the boy opened his eyes and chained them to hers.

Silence.
Eye to eye, Wang He Di and Shen Yue remained silent in that moment when time seemed to stand still just for them.
It was as if they were both afraid to breathe.
Wang He Di's mind, even though he just woke up, was a whirlwind of thoughts.
It wasn't the first time he slept with a woman who wasn't his girlfriend.
It was completely normal for him.
He woke up almost every morning with a new person beside him.
Some of them clung to him during the night, but he didn't, he never responded to their cuddles.
As he looked into Shen Yue's eyes, which were the biggest and deepest he'd ever seen in his life, he wondered if that was the feeling she'd once told him about.
It was true, between the two of them there had been absolutely nothing, but he suddenly felt that sleeping with his little tiger in his arms was even better than sex.
That thought scared the hell out of him.
He felt like a frightened little pet...
Yue moved the hand she still had on his cheek in a very sweet caress.
"Yesterday I saw you really worried about me."
"Because I was really worried about you."
"You called me by my name at least twice, I'm sure" Yue chuckled.
"And you dragged me to your bed... So?" he winked.
Shen Yue jerked away, as if she had touched fire, and she turned on the other side.
Dylan looked at her back with a grin.
"Yayyy! Cutie! Finally my wish has come true: me, you, your warm bed..."
"Go away" Yue muttered.
He just couldn't manage not to make fun of her!
Dylan laughed and wrapped his arm around her again and he pulled her towards him.
Shen Yue blushed once again.
She wondered if Wang He Di realized how absurd that situation was...
But then she gave herself an answer: it was Dylan. Her don Juan neighbor.  He was probably used to behaving like this with everyone.
"Cutie?"
"Mmh?"
Yue didn't turn to him, she remained motionless in his grip, her back against his chest, continuing to stare at the dusty pink wall in front of her.
"How are you feeling today?"
Yue's heart-shaped lips parted in a small smile.
"I'm fine. Sorry for how I behaved yesterday..."
"Shush... You can count on me."
Another silence.
"Thanks, Didi".
Wang He Di gave her a little kiss on her head.
It was his way of letting her know he was there for her.
"Do you have plans for the evening, tiger?" he asked her.
"No... "
"Shall we go to the baozi kiosk?"
Yue raised her head up and Dylan laughed at her happy expression.
"I take it for a yes".

Ciao!
I know you will hate me a little for writing such a short chapter, but this is an important moment and I wanted it to have a little space ☺️
On the one hand we have Yue, who for the first time sleeps with a man with whom she is not in a romantic relationship.
And on the other, Didi, who sleeps only with women he is not in a relationship with.
They will certainly pretend nothing has happened, but for both of them it will remain a special day.
I wanted to write a lot of other little things, but I feel like I want to keep them for an even more meaningful moment 😊
