It is the promised day, or I should say the one I agreed on. It's the wedding of Mr. Jeane's daughter. I could say that wealthy people really know how to show extravagance. I'm like a lost child in an amusement park; I know where I am, yet I don't know where I'm supposed to go.

"Al, there you are. It's good you're here." It's Harley, looking smart in the suit he's wearing.

"It's nice to see you again, Al." Mr. Jeane said as he shook my hand. "You look good today, son. Anyway, don't be a stranger; just think that you're a member of the extended family." He smiled.

"Oh, thank you, sir. By the way, the place is grand."

"My daughter had always wanted a garden wedding. Thanks to Harley's unlimited imagination that things are made possible. And Al, I think everyone in the family is waiting to hear your voice. I bragged about you, but don't feel pressured, though." He laughed.

"Sir, that's a lot." I smiled shyly.

The music played, and it's my cue to sing. The bride began walking down the aisle. She looks lovely in her white gown; all of the guests are smiling happily, and the groom started wiping his tears upon seeing her. I suddenly imagined Jamie and Jimmy in this scenario... what an imagination; I should be working, not daydreaming.

"You may now kiss the bride." Said the priest.

The groom leaned to kiss his bride. I think this is everyone's most awaited moment, especially the guests who think that the wedding is official when the couple kisses. My mind cannot stop imagining; it pictured Jimmy as the groom and Jamie as the bride. I have seen them kiss before, but there's something different with the wedding kiss. It is not just an expression of love; it expresses more commitment than love. Or so I think.

The wedding reception is over, and I am waiting for Mr. Jeane, just to settle our agreement six months ago.

"Al, I'm sorry if I made you wait." Mr. Jeane apologized.

"No worries, sir. I know it was a busy day for the family."

"Here it is, as agreed." He handed me a check.

I peeked at the amount and was surprised. "Mr. Jeane, I think this is too much."

"No, Al. That's what you deserve. Every guest who bumped on me complimented you, plus I've never seen my daughter this happy. My relatives like you; maybe you should prepare yourself for another Florent wedding. Harley will be in touch with you." He said.

"Thank you so much, sir. It was nice working for you." I shake his hand, and I can see the humility in the man before me.
