Tris and Tobias' Child's life

worries

today is our free day and i want to spent it all with Nat but she wants to go see her parents in the morning for  a bit but it will only be quick because we don't want to raise any suspicion so i just doze back to sleep until i hear the door open and close and my beautiful Nat comes in, with a huge smile on her face 

"what is it Nat?"

"oh i was just thinking about being a big sister"

"you will be great!" 

"I'm so excited"

"so do you want to get some lunch its a bit early but there will probably be food there"

"year lets go"

as we walk into the canteen i hear 'congratulations over by Mr and Mrs four' and I think i know why. When Uriah sees and and he starts to come over then seems to think better of it as there are other initiates around, including John, who is eyeing me and Nat but more Nat, and i get a bad feeling and put my arm around her waist only to be greeted by a death glare from four and i quickly remove my arm to which i get a hurt look from Nat and i also see six smack four on the arm 

"seriously don;t let my dads opinion interfere with us, anyway its not like he can do anything" and she grabs my arm and puts it back round her waist. 

when we sit down we hear John is behind us

"i saw that Jay, are you scared of four, you seemed to recoil a bit when he gave you that glare" i put a confused look on my face and say 

"I'm sorry but i didn't see any glare, now if you don't mind we are trying to eat"

"there is something fishy going on between you guys and four and I'm going to find out" 

he walks away and i get worried for Nat. i know she can handle herself, i mean she knows about 20 different ways of killing someone before you could say dauntless and yet i cant help thinking that if she was up against John and 10 of his other followers she wouldn't come out best.

what makes this worse if that later when we are all going back to the dormitory's we see four and six holding hands and its a quick reaction from when they saw us to when there hands became detached, but it wasn't quick enough an John sees and stops dead in his tracks looking at at four and six

fours says to John

"what are you looking at initiate" 

"you were holding hands" say John a air of smugness in his voice

"and your problem is" says four harshly 

"well, she has a ring on her finger which means she married and by the looks of your hand you are to so my conclusion is that-"

"i don't care what your conclusion is initiate" says Nat' mum

i can see the smile playing on Nat's lips as she watches and four and six both raise there eyebrows at him and suddenly lily squeals which makes me jump in the silence.

"OMG, you two are married" she says then turns bright red and to my amusement so does John. and she punches John in the face he falls to the floor and starts whimpering which makes everyone laugh but also i see that John sees the glance shared between Nat a six. 

(TIME LAPSE)

On our way to the canteen the next morning John whispers in my ear while Nat is talking to lily

"there is something going on with six a your little girlie, i will find out and i will hurt her if needed" he says the last few word with a laugh. i raise my eyebrows and try to look confused 

"i don;t know what your talking about"

"ha she hasn't even told you" and he walks away 

Nat comes up to me and kisses me on the cheek and says "what did he want" 

"Nat, he knows something is up with you and your mum, please just try and be extra careful" 

"don't worry i will be" she says but i don't think she realises how bad and how low he will sink after all she was the one beaten up by him.
