5 - Tine's POV

CHAPTER 5
Tine's POV
"Oh, why did you apply so late?" His dad asked me, now I'm in the hot seat. Phukong was right, their parents sure asks lots of questions "your son right here, he didn't allow me to apply at first. He just wanted me to stay at our apartment and enjoy some free time. But I have applied already since we already talked about it" I tried to smile "Wat, you need to learn to let go of Tine. He studied to work, he also wants to have a future for his own" now his dad is lecturing him "I know, but I can provide for the both of us. Actually he doesn't need to work but he wants too. So who am I to disagree?" He is so confident with his answer....
"Tine, I hope what I have cooked has satisfied your taste buds" his mom is no nice, "of course aunt. Well Wat had already told me that you cook good enough but now that I had tasted it.. I can't get enough" well it wasn't a lie, his mom really cooks good "mom, make P'Tine move into P'Wat's room. He is shy to sleep with him because you and dad might feel awkward" this damn brother of him.. "Phukong, stop joking. I'm ok, and Wat too" I tried to kick his toes "Really? Tine, you don't need to feel awkward or shy. You've been together for so long. My son has loved you for so long, and you're a great person. I trust you, so just move in to Wat's room. We won't mind, it's fine. Right honey?" This Phukong, I'm going to shout at him for sure "uhh,, it's ok aunt. I'm already comfortable. And I've been living with Wat for quite some time so I know how messy he is. I might not handle his room if I move" I tried to joke on him
"Well, that's a fact" his mom has laughed with me and his dad "mom, I'll move to the guest room then" this guy, he really is crazy.. why on Earth can't he stay in one place without me? "Did you guys fought? Tine seems to avoid Wat and Wat seems to follow Tine  What's going on? Hmm?" His dad asked, Phukong showed me the I TOLD YOU THEY WOULD FIND OUT look "uh, I think I'll just move into Wat's room. I loved him for so long, I can accept his messiness" I tried to laugh awkwardly and showed my burning eyes at Phukong who kept on laughing at me. After dinner, I dragged my luggage on the way to Wat's room. "Finally, my wife has agreed to sleep with me" Sarawat kept on teasing me "I really hate your brother, did you know that? He kept on bringing trouble to me" I hissed "babe, let it go. It's his ceremony tomorrow so just give this to him ok?" Yeah, I totally forgot that it's tomorrow "mm, It got out of my mind. By the way, don't sleep yet help me fix our clothes to your closet" as I opened the closet I found all his clothes are jerseys "what on earth are this clothes?" I asked again "let it be. It was my clothes in highschool. I moved when I got in college remember? So all my new clothes are in our place already" he explained

"Oh yeah? Just help me fix this" I asked him as we both fixed his closet with our clothes together. "Babe, what do we do after the ceremony tomorrow?" He asked as if he is planning to go on a date with me "we'll eat together with your family to celebrate" I answered him "after that?" Why is he even asking me about that? "I don't know, I don't want to think about it Wat. But what do you want to do? Hmm? Tell me?" I know he is exited to do a lot of things while we are here together since I've never been here ever since we got together..
"Let's go visit some places, and my friends" friends? What friends is he talking  about seriously? "Friends? I might feel out of place, you can go meet them tomorrow after the ceremony. I'll spend some time with your mom and then let's just plan what to do after that. You must've missed your friends a lot so spend some time with them" yeah right, I've always let him do what he wants. I don't want to stop him from doing what he wants.

"But I want them to meet you," why those puppy eyes "I'm ok, I want to spend time to get to know your mom. I really think she's nice, and I want to get accustomed to your environment growing up. Don't worry, I'll just stay here and besides it's just half a day. I'm gonna be ok" well I hope I will be ok like how I'm trying to comfort him that I will be ok "since you wanted to stay here so bad then ok. I'll just spend a little time with them then comeback to you as fast as I could ok?" He kissed my forehead..
The next day, I woke up as the sun rays lay on my face. I shaked Sarawat's legs that are on top of mine. "Wat! It's morning already. Get up" he's not even opening his eyes and just tightened his hug on me "Wat! He have a ceremony to attend. Get up now," I tried to remove his hand then he talked "5 minutes babe. 5 minutes"

"no more, it's morning. We are not in our place we have to get up now" I held his arm to get up. I even dragged him to the bathroom and washed his face then brushed his teeth for him since he is still half asleep and is not opening his eyes yet.
"Wat! Wake up now!" I gently slapped his face "mm, I'm awake now" he got up and went out of the room "oh, it's a miracle. Wat doesn't wake up at morning normally" his dad laughed "well, he does when we're at our place he started working so he needs to wake up early" I told his dad, that looked like he just arrived from jogging
"Tine, Wat, come let's all eat together and get prepared to go to the University.. Phukong already went first" his mom prepared breakfast for us "thanks auntie" I smiled brightly "of course, anything for my Tine" now I feel like I'm already her son "what happened Wat? You still looked sleepy" his mom asked him "yes mom, but Tine dragged me out because we have to attend the ceremony. You know, I can't fight back" we all laughed "just eat will you, this is your favorite right? We always buy this outside back at college. Here, have mine too" I served him breakfast to shut his mouth from further talking of nonsense..

After breakfast we went back to our room and prepared the clothes that we're going to wear. Wat on the other hand went back to sleep, when on earth will he be a morning person? "Babe, I prepared what you'll wear already. Get up now" I walked him up again then he got up "Tine, are you sure that you don't want to come with me to meet with my friends?""Wat, we've talked about it already. Which part is not yet clear? I'll tell you again"

"I'm just scared, Phukong might mess with you" this guy "don't tell me that you also gets jealous with your own brother? Will you stop it Wat? I'm not gonna buy it" now I'm getting mad "no, I'm just worried. But since your starting to get mad I won't talk about it" right now I don't really know if he's still my boyfriend or my mother now. After getting dressed we all ride on Wat's family car.. "Wat, did you buy a car?" His mom asked "actually aunt, the transportation we have at our place is a motorcycle not a car since we just started yet we can't afford it in the meantime" I tried to laugh a little "why didn't you tell us? We could've bought it for you" his dad spoke while driving "dad, you know I hate people buying stuff for me. And besides Tine and I want to have it using are own money. Just give us sometime we'll buy soon when I get my pay check and Tine as well" so he's really planning to buy a car? When on earth will we put in our place? He is not even thinking, he just want to brag about it..
As we arrive at the venue, I can totally see Phukong taking lots of pictures with his friends. Those good old days of the past.. "babe, are you ok? Are you dizzy again?" His hand caressed my head "no, I'm good. I just got reminded of our college days.  And the memories that I had with my gang" I smiled "we were just youth those days, we're now adults those memories have gone but it won't ever fade" he smiled at me "are you guys ok to sit at the back? The parents' seat are that way" his mom pointed at the seat in the front "yeah we're good here" Wat held my hand to sit at the back.
"Forgot to ask you. The friends you're meeting, are they girls or guys?" Just wanna check "it's a mix. Don't worry, I won't flirt with friends ok? I have a wife now. Why on Earth do I have to flirt with anybody?" Well he has a point "you better not get back on your word. I'm telling you if I leave the second time around I won't ever comeback" I tried to blackmail him

"Stop talking about what already happened ok? And I promise you, I won't get back on my word. I won't and I don't flirt with friends. I don't want to tell you who they are because I'm not comfortable but if you really want to know, you can call Man or Boss about them" ok fine, I think I won't ask about them. I bet that if I call either Man or Boss they will tease me that I get jealous easily even if they are only Wat's friends and I don't want that. "Uh, by the way.. my mom talks a lot about my childhood days. If she asks about something don't say anything ok?" Why do I have to lie "why would I do that? I think it's fun to talk about you when you're just a baby. I want to imagine you like that" I laughed at him "don't try me, or I'll really ask P'Type too"
