DECIPHERING THE LANGUAGE BARRIER (5)

-  ' Don't test my patience stranger...you'll regret it. '
The man who might be a king said in a bitter tone. Namjoon gulped and said
- ' Uh...well..I don't even know exactly where the problem happened, but - '
- ' Talk properly! I know you're understanding my every words....so answer me in a proper language. Don't make irritating meaningless sounds! '

Namjoon blinked a few times, then understood what's the problem. This people can't understand their language! But thanks to their translators, Namjoon and his siblings can understand everything.

Namjoon took a breath and bowed to the man infront of him and gestured him to follow him. The man furrowed his brows in uncertainty and that Yoongi guy again came forward with his sword.

- ' Don't you dare to hurt Prince Seokjin or else... '
Namjoon clearly understood what is "or else"...so he shook his head furiously and again bowed the guy who is Prince Seokjin. Seokjin asked in disgust
- ' What are you doing? '
Namjoon again gestured to follow him and a voice from behind said
- ' Maybe he wants you to follow him oppa. '

A lady in purple gown and brown long waves came near them and again said
- ' Maybe he just understands our language, but doesn’t know how to speak it....this is a different Kingdom, right?'
Seokjin shooted Namjoon a cold look and Namjoon nodded several times to prove that this is the matter.

- ' Where do you want me to go, stranger? '
Namjoon pointed at one of their drawers , where they kept more translators. Seokjin looked at that and then back at Namjoon. Then just nodded a bit. Namjoon went to the drawer and Seokjin followed from a safe distance.

After taking 8 translators, he closed the drawers and came to Seokjin. Seokjin cautiously observed the translators
- ' What...are these things? '
Namjoon showed how to wear them and  the purple gown lady came besides Seokjin said
- ' Are these ornaments? But why should we wear this? '
Namjoon tried his best to make them understand what he's saying and finally Seokjin said
-  ' You want me to wear this thing? '
Namjoon nodded in agreement. Seokjin took the translator from Namjoon's hand and observed it for sometimes, then cautiously wore it like Namjoon showed.
- ' Now.. do you understand what I’m saying? '
Namjoon asked, a bit worriedly and Seokjin blinked several times in confusion. Then said
- ' Yeah...I..I can understand what you're saying...but how?! '
Namjoon sighed in relief
- ' By the help of this translator. It can translate any language into the user's mother language as this has human sensors. '
- ' Now you're taking in our language...but I still don’t understand whatever you said right now. This thing is what? Is it some sort of magic or what? '

Namjoon smiled a little
- ' Absolutely not. This is purely science and technology. This is a translator that we made. You can understand my words by it's help. '
Seokjin tried to process whatever Namjoon said..but then realised that's not important right now.

- ' I don’t get it...but this is not something I want to know. Tell me everything I asked you. Who are you? Which Kingdom is this? Where is your king and how you took us here? '
Namjoon sighed and said
- ' I'm Namjoon....Kim Namjoon.This is Seoul. I'm a scientist. My sister Jennie and brother Taehyung are scientists, too. We were researching on time and built our own machine to travel around time...but..something went wrong and caused  this mishap. Let me tell you clearly...but before that, please, leave my siblings. It's not their fault. '

At least they can understand each others words now!

But...will the scientists be able to repair their machine before it's too late?
