AMENDING THE WAY OF ALLIANCE (9)

- ' So...this is it? No other way-out?'
- ' I'm very much ashamed that you have to face all of this for our technical mistakes. I....really never meant to create  such a chaos. Please, if possible, forgive  us Prince.'
- ' But Mister Namjoon...if this is not a Kingdom..then what is this place? And why is everything so weird here? I..really want to know how we came suddenly here within a few moments.'
- ' I really want to answer, too. But for that...you need to be habituated in this lifestyle. Otherwise no matter how many times I try, you'll not be able to understand. But I promise you...before your departure, I will definitely tell you everything. '

Seokjin just nodded and looked outside. Night Seoul was visible from this balcony where they were standing. He kept looking at the city streets and finally asked
- ' Mister Namjoon? '
- ' You can call me just Namjoon...you're a prince after-all. '
- ' Oh..okay...but...is this an enchanted land? '
Namjoon couldn’t understand what this means and looked at Seokjin confusingly
- ' Sorry? '
- ' Look...stars are running on the streets! What a mesmerising scene! This must be magic, right? '
Namjoon followed his gaze and after realising, he burst out in laughter.
- ' What's wrong? '
- ' This...this is not stars! '
- ' Then what are they?'
- ' Cars. These are cars...a mode of transportation. '
- ' Huh?'
- ' Like....you..must have horse carriages in your Kingdom right? '
- ' Yes we do.'
- ' Just like that...people here use cars to travel. '
- ' They don't look like animals! '
- ' Because they are not. These are machines....a manmade thing. No magic....only science and technology. '
- ' Why your words are so difficult to understand sometimes! '
- ' My apologies Prince...I'll try my best to give your answers in a more easy way. '
Seokjin sighed and said...looking at a distance
- ' Just a few hours ago...I was in my palace..enjoying a beautiful afternoon with my youngers...and now I don’t even know where I am. Life is...so unpredictable at times.'

Namjoon felt bad for him and again the guilt took over his heart. He sighed and looked down. Seokjin noticed this and said
- ' You did it unintentionally. Don't regret it. And....we all make mistakes in our lifetime. You're just one of us. '
Namjoon looked up and saw a slight smile on Seokjin's face
- ' It’s fine Namjoon.... I... I forgive you. You've already faced enough trouble for us. This is a mutual problem I think. '
- ' I..I'm..thanks...thanks a lot Prince. I never thought you'll be able to forgive us. '
- ' But..I have some requests. '
- ' Yes..anything. '
- ' Help us to live here for this 3 months.'
- ' You don’t need to think about it. We'll arrange everything . You're our guests.'
- ' Not everyone will be so easily forgiving. Jungkook is really angry about everything...Lisa, Hoseok and Yoongi will be difficult to deal with, too. They're not like this but...'
- ' It's okay Prince...I totally understand their situations. It's not their fault anyways. '
- ' Please don't mind their behaviour. '
- ' No no...absolutely not. '
- ' And one more thing. '
- ' Yes?'
- ' If I'm calling you by your name...then please don't call me Prince. Call me by my name. Also...I'm not a prince here..it's not even a Kimgdom. So, please...it's just Seokjin or Jin. '
- 'oh...um..but...you're royal blood and.. I'm....'
- ' We never considered it that way. This is why Yoongi, Hoseok and Lisa are equal to me like my sisters and brothers. Yeah we're born as royals but only our deeds can truly make us royal...  and this 3 months we'll be detached from our duties...so I don't think we deserve this titles for this time. We'll be royals again when we'll take over our duties and serve our Kingdoms. Untill then, I'm just Seokjin or Jin. '

Namjoon was just listening to Seokjin in awe. He never thought a prince from pages of history will think like this. His respect for this ancient prince increased by his words.
- ' I...I..okay...sure..I'll call you Jin..'
Seokjin replied with a bright smile and a nod and suddenly Namjoon realised this is the first time  he saw someone smile in that day.

" Seokjin has a beautiful smile... "
Namjoon thought and smiled back.

At least the elders tried to understand the situations of each others...but what about others?

Will they be able to co-operate? Or more fuss will be created?
