IT IS LOVE (50)

- ' Jennie....you called me? '

Jennie turned around and found Lisa, wearing the dress she gifted her yesterday. A natural smile found its way to her lips as her mind told her

" She truly is the most beautiful human I've ever seen. "

- ' Jen? '
Lisa's call stopped Jennie's mind from thinking more and she smilingly extended her hand
- ' Let's go. '
- ' Where? '
- ' Just...come okay? '
Lisa frowned but took her hand as Jennie started walking towards the garage.

Within a few moments, they drove off.

- ' Jen where are we going in the middle of the night? '
An impatient Lisa asked for the umpteenth time as Jennie just smiled mysteriously.
- ' We will be there soon. Just wait a bit more.  '

After driving for a bit more, Jennie parked the car. But as soon as Lisa went outside, she closed her eyes with both of her hand and guided her to their destination.

Lisa felt cold yet comforting wind on her skin and...

....the roar of sea!

She immediately took off Jennie's hands and found themselves in the middle of a breathtaking moonlit beach.

- ' Uh...wow! '

White sands were giving a divine glow allover the place as the moonlight shimmers on the dark blue crashing waves.

Lisa's gaze fell upon the bench nearby as Jennie softly tugged her towards it.
She was mesmerised as Jennie led her  to the bench.

- ' So....you liked it? '
Jennie asked with a smile but was pulled in a tight hug by Lisa.
- ' This is....so so beautiful! I..I never knew beaches are so much beautiful. This is the first time I'm seeing the sea and it's really something. I never ever thought you'd take me here. I....don't know what to say more....Jennie..'
Jennie hugged her back and said in a comforting voice
- ' Glad you liked it. I thought it would be better to keep this a secret. And Lisa? '
- ' Humm?'
- ' Maybe you don’t know what to say more....but I do. To be precise, I brought you here to tell you something. '

Suddenly the butler realized where the conversation is going as she broke the hug and stared at the lady infront of her blankly.
- ' Did...Taehyung tell you something perhaps..? '
Jennie's voice dropped down and became barely audible but Lisa managed to hear it somehow and gained her confidence back, brushing off  the amazement from her mind as she nodded yes, causing a red shade to spread allover the face of the scientist.

- ' And...? What..did he say? '
Lisa clearly felt Jennie's voice was trembling. She knew what to do now. She knew that from now on, she needs to take the charge....Jennie is enough freaking out to say anymore.

She took one of Jennie's hand and held it in between her palms securely
- ' Jennie..listen to me okay? '
Jennie gulped down and nodded
- ' Yes.....Taehyung told me...and I heard what you said...and yes, I do have something to tell you in return. May I? '
Jennie could feel her heartbeat increasing but she kept quiet and nodded. Lisa squeezed her hand a bit and continued
- ' I thought a lot..really. About everything you said. And....maybe..you're..right. Maybe...no why maybe..you are right. I should've realized it long ago, when Yoongi hyung and Prince Jimin confessed...when Princess Chaeyoung opened up her heart to Princess Kim....and when Taehyung chose Prince Jeon to be his lover . I should have understood love and its consequences long ago. But I kept overlooking it for the sake of my  duties and boundaries . But what is the point of a life lived without happiness and peace? Nothing..absolutely nothing. Even if our lives are small, we should live it fully. And...who knows the future? Anything could happen! '

Jennie looked up at the last part. This is exactly what Taehyung told her 2 days ago. Lisa read her mind and smiled brightly
- ' Yes..the last part is from Taehyung. He's quiet a speaker! Actually...three of them are. '
- ' Three..? You mean Jimin and Jungkook were also with him? '
- ' Absolutely. They're inseparable! '
Jennie smiled along, admiring the beautifully strong bond of the youngers.

- ' Ahem...so....I've a few more things I would like to tell. Maybe, this could feel like a speech, but bear with me please? '
Jennie's eyes shined in admiration
- ' I would love to listen to your every words, Lili. '
Lisa's smile widened at the mention of her nickname, given by her Nini.

- ' You know Nini...I sometimes wondered  what is love. I used to think about it...but never knew the answer. But now I know...maybe not totally but I have an idea. Love is like an wonderful pain ... It's not about right people or good people ... cause nobody is totally  good.  Love doesn't make you jealous .. it makes you free. Love is when you don't need to pretend anything in front of that person , you don't need to pay extra attention or time. Love is not something we do .. it is what we are. '

Jennie's moist eyes looked up and she nodded
- ' I think that too. Love is a whole different state of mind....where you'll feel everything...every possible emotions are mixed in it. It's like... Being able to touch the sky while knowing you can fly back to your own safe home....
It's like wandering in the darkness without fearing because you have someone who'll get lost with you.
It's like a rollercoaster ride, you'll be on the clouds and you'll touch the ground at the same time. '

Lisa held her hand out with the brightest smile she had ever smiled
- ' Will you allow me to be your that safe home...that someone who'll get lost with  you...that partner of your rollercoaster ride? I don’t want to know about the future. All I know is...it's you. It was always you who made me feel this way. '

A single drop of tear slipped out of Jennie's eyes as she held the extended hand of Lisa securely, closer to her heart.

- ' You're already that Lili...I love you. '
- ' Me too Nini... Lizzie loves you more than you love your milk Ice-cream! '

Both of their hearty laughter filled the deserted beach as a soothing cool wind blew over the neverending waves.
