VISITING THE MEMORY SHOP (35)

- ' But why should we hide our faces with these masks Jen? '
- ' Because quite a lot people know who am I and if they find out I'm going on a date with a girl who's from a different time zone...we will be dead.'
- ' Going on what? '
- ' A..uh..going out I mean.. going out of the house. '

After one week of their 50th day celebration, the royals almost begged to go outside for once and considering the long time period they have spent in the house, the scientists decided to take them outside....but not together. Little group will create less fuss. So, for the first day, Jennie is going out with Lisa.

- ' Where are we going? '
Lisa said with a bright smile as they came out of the house.
- ' Somewhere quiet and peaceful. '
- ' Where? '
- 'ummm...'
Jennie thought for a second, then her face brightened
- ' I know a perfect place. Let's go. '

Jennie drove off towards the outskirts of the city while giving answers to Lisa's endless questions about the city life.

After a long drive of 2 hours, Jennie parked besides a cafe. They're no more in the city...this place was a little away from main city. Quiet, green and peaceful... just what they needed.

- ' Jiwoo?'
A girl turned back from the counter and smiled brightly at Jennie as they went inside.
- ' Jendukie! After so many days.'
The girl came almost hopping and wrapped Jennie into a big hug. Jennie also hugged back with a huge grin.
- ' How are you Jiwoo? I missed you and this place a lot! It's been... 3 months? '
The girl let the scientist go and said
- ' Nope. More than that...almost 4 months since you last came. So..  remembered me suddenly? '
Jennie smiled apologetically
- ' My bad Ji. I was...stuck in a situation..'
Jiwoo smiled and ruffled Jennie's hair
- ' I get it Jen. You're a scientist after-all.'

This is when Jiwoo noticed Lisa besides her friend.
- ' Uh..sorry..but..Jen..won't you introduce me to your friend? '
Jennie smiled and nodded, then took out one translator from her bag and handed it to Jiwoo.
- ' She's from a foreign country and doesn’t know how to speak our language. To understand her words, you need to put this on. '
Jiwoo listened to Jennie and did what she said.

- ' Now...Lisa, this is Jung Jiwoo. My childhood friend and she was our old neighbour before we moved out. And Jiwoo, this is Lalisa Manoban she is...my..friend.'
- ' Nice to meet you Lisa. Where are you from? '
- ' Nice to meet you too Jiwoo. I'm from Par-'
- ' Paraguay... she's from Paraguay.'
Jennie said, elbowing Lisa and Lisa managed a nervous smile
- ' Uh..yeah..yes..whatever she said...yes..true. '
Jiwoo blinked a few times, but being the sweet and simple girl ....she believed it.
- 'Oh...great I guess. Come sit. Jennie.. you're having your usual chilli cheese toast with watermelon mojito? '
- ' Totally. '
- ' Okay. Lisa...what for you?'
Lisa glanced at Jennie nervously and she said
- ' Your iconic pink lemonade and fish balls will surely impress her. '
Jiwoo shoot a bright smile
- ' Order taken Ma'am. '

Three of them chatted and laughed together as the day passed by. It was almost 4 pm when Jennie and Lisa left the cafe, promising they'll visit again soon.

- ' So..now? We're going back? '
Lisa asked and Jennie replied with a sly smile
- ' Nope...just not yet. '
- ' Then? Where are we going? '
- ' To my favourite place. '
- ' Where is it? '
- ' Wait a bit more Miss butler! '
- ' You're soo...'
- ' What? '
- ' Beautifully annoying. '

Jennie's heart skipped a bit at the compliment..but the thing touched her the most was that....Lisa's voice had no hint of flirting. It was filled with genuine affection.

As the scientist is out in the city with the butler, little sparks are flying between them!

But where is Jennie going? What will happen there?
