Namjoon felt a hand stroking his hair softly, but that didn’t bothered his sleep... rather, he felt more comfort.

- ' Namjoon....get up. It’s morning already. '
He knew who it is. He's used to this for past few days. He always falls asleep on their computer desk while working... and the next morning, always Jin comes and wakes him up like this.
- '  When will you listen to me Namjoon? I've been telling this for a hundred times...but you never listen. Look at Taehyung and Jennie..they always get back to their room after work. And you? Always staying up untill midnight and then falling asleep here. Get some proper rest...please. '

Seokjin said all of this, but in a calm and low voice so Namjoon just smiled and opened his eyes slowly.

- ' Good morning Prince. '
- ' Very good morning Mr. Kim. Now get fresh and come downstairs. Jennie and Lisa are done with making breakfasts. '
Seokjin turned to leave but Namjoon stopped him by pulling his wrist.

- ' What? '
- ' Seriously.... why you do this? '
- ' Do what? '
- ' This...this waking me up, scolding me,  eating with me...this all things..you know you don't have to.'
Seokjin smiled softly
- ' No one has to do friendship. I'm just being a good friend...and when in Kingdom, I was always busy with works...but here I have nothing to do. So  why not this? '
- ' So I'm your boredom killer? '
Seokjin blinked a few times to process what he said, and then sat down on the other chair infront of Namjoon.
- ' What?! When I said that? '
- ' Right now. You said you do this because you have no work. '
- ' Namjoon....that's not what I meant. I  am just being a good friend.'
- ' Then please stop doing all these...stop thinking about me...stop caring for me. '
Both of them stared at each other for a moment...then Seokjin broke the silence
- ' Why I have to? '
- ' Because...I'm not....habituated with this. Only my siblings care for me...that's the only relation I have in this world. Nothing else...no one else. No one is my friend....no one is..after-all....no one stays...everyone will leave me. I'm done with this. Stop it...stop this before I get used to it...stop before I get my hopes up...stop before you leave...just...just stop Jin....'

Namjoon got up and left the lab, and Seokjin sat there...totally silent and lost.

He wanted to stop Namjoon...he wanted to tell him that he also deserves friendship, love and affection....he also needs time and care...

But he couldn’t...

Because Namjoon's words were still ringing in his mind...

"Stop it...stop this before I get used to it...stop before I get my hopes up...stop before you leave...just...just stop Jin...."

As the crowned prince is wanting to start a friendship with the scientist....seems like he is too afraid to do so.

Can Seokjin succeed? Or Namjoon will never let down his walls?
