LISTENING TO THE HEART (28)

- ' That's impractical and irrational Hoseok! Do you even know what you're saying right now? He's.....he's a Prince. Most importantly...he's the prince I work for. '
- ' Did that really matter when you fall for him? '
- ' I...no... I... Didn't...'
- ' Enough Yoongi...enough with this pretence. Face it...face your heart. Both of us know what you want. '

Yoongi sighed and looked outside the window. It was raining slowly. Cool breeze was coming inside through the window.

- ' You know Hoseok....how we first met?'
Hoseok shook his head as no and after a pause, Yoongi said
- ' That day...when I was first appointed as the butler... 5 years ago,  it was raining since the previous night and I went to the palace early morning. I was told to wait for the prince outside his room and I obeyed it. '
- ' Then? '
- ' Then...after a few moments...he came. '
- ' Prince Jimin? '
- ' Hmm...with his usual bright smile and charming aura. The way he greeted me...as if he knows me since forever. From the day one, he was nothing but too sweet and gentle towards me. I never expected such kind behaviour... especially for a cold person like me. But he always treated me with such fondness that...that I couldn’t help my heart. I know I shouldn’t.. I knew it was all wrong..but my lovesick heart continuously melted in his warmth. Now the situation is out of my control. I clearly know that he's just friendly and sweet in nature....nothing special for me. Why would he do something special for a butler? After going back....he will be crowned soon. Then one day , he will be the King....he will find a perfect princess to be his queen. They will rule the kingdom together , happily. I really can't wait for that day...after becoming king, he will have a thousands of bodyguards and there will be no more work left for me. I really can't wait for that day Hoseok....when we will say our final goodbye and when our paths will be separated forever. '
- ' I can't believe my ears! You want to be separated from him!?'
Yoongi let out a bitter laugh which sounded a bit lunatic.
- ' At least....then...I will not fall for him even more. Every single moment with him pushes me further towards him. I can live with his memories...but living with him, knowing that he will never love me back..he'll never be mine hurts the most Jung. '
Hoseok shook his head and a slight smile spread across his lips.
- ' You know nothing  Yoongi... absolutely nothing! Maybe you love my other prince...but you don't know him. You don’t know his heart..you don’t know what he want. '
Yoongi's brows furrowed
- ' What do you mean? I don’t know Prince Jimin! '
- ' That's exactly what I meant. Because if you knew him...you'd find out who is the love of his life...what is in his heart. '
- ' Love...of his life? He loves someone? '
- ' God! Please help me to keep my calm so that I don’t kill this man! You're hopelessly pathetic Min Yoongi.'
Yoongi still couldn’t understand anything, but didn’t dare to say further. He was clearly not in the mood to start a battle with his friend.
- ' Go and say this all things to your Prince as soon as possible and you'll know who he loves. '
- ' Wh...WHAT!  Are you mad or what? He loves someone else and you’re telling me to confess to him! '
- ' And who on earth told you he loves someone other than you? '

Now that Yoongi knows the actual truth, will he be able to open his heart to his prince? Will Prince Park be able to accept his love inspite of the boundaries and circumstances?
