- ' Tae? '
Taehyung looked up from his laptop screen to find out Jungkook standing on  the door.
- ' Jungkook? You? It's....2 now. Why are you up so late? '
Jungkook hesitated for a moment, then said
- ' May...I come in? '
- ' Yeah sure. '

Jungkook came in and sat on the chair across the bed and Taehyung closed his  laptop.
- ' You didn’t answer my question. What are you doing at this hour? You're an early bird right? '

Jungkook looked down but didn’t answer the question. Taehyung noticed that he's not in his usual self. That confident and fearless prince was nowhere to be found.....instead, a confused and hesitant guy was sitting infront of him. Taehyung again asked
- ' Jungkook? Any problem? Are you sick? What happened? '

Jungkook slowly looked up, but again, said nothing. Now Taehyung was a bit tensed. Jungkook never does something like that. He got up from his bed and knelt down infront of the prince
- ' Jungkook you have to tell what's wrong... otherwise I can't understand anything. What is the problem..tell me. '
Jungkook sighed looked into Taehyung's eyes and said
- ' I miss us. '
Taehyung was taken aback. He couldn’t understand Jungkook's words
- ' Us...?'
- ' Yes Tae..us. Do you remember when was the last time we chatted together? Or, we ate together? When you  called me Kookie last time? I miss those reasonless fun talks and silly moments we used to spend together... I miss those sunsets with your handmade tea... I miss you Taehyung. '
Taehyung sat there, completely blank and shocked as Jungkook continued
- ' What has happened to you? Why you keep ignoring me? What made you so busy nowadays? Answer me! '

Taehyung knew...whatever the prince telling was true. After his discussion with his elders, he decided to focus on work and kept himself away from Jungkook. It's been more than a week now. He was overlooking everything intentionally, just to keep himself from distractions....but it was indeed hurting himself too.

- ' Look Taehyung, I just want to know the reason. I'll not bother you afterwards. I want to know what has happened in a week that suddenly everything changed so drastically. '

Taehyung couldn’t stare at Jungkook. He looked away. He knew if he keep looking at the prince or tries to talk, he's surely going to break down pathetically.

Here, Jungkook was growing more and more impatient. He was never the one who'd approach first, but Taehyung has that effect on him.

- ' You're going to speak or I should leave? '
- ' There's nothing to tell...I have nothing to say. '
Taehyung almost whispered. He wanted it to sound like he's disgusted...but it came out like he's broken and vulnerable, which clearly reached the ears of the prince.

- ' Taehyung? '
Again...nothing but silence took over the room. Jungkook slowly took both of the hands of the scientist into his own and again said, in a lot more soft and sympathetic way
- ' Look at me...look at me once? Please? '
Taehyung couldn’t deny when Jungkook requests. He knew that the prince was not this type usually. He slowly shifted his gaze towards Jungkook.
- ' I don’t know why you're doing this... definitely you have your own reasons. But Tae, doing something against your heart always ends up badly. I'm not good at understanding people...but I can understand you, atleast I try to. You sounded like you're doing something you're not willing to. I don’t know why that's needed....but whatever the reason maybe, please...don't hurt yourself. I really don’t want you to do so....and if I am the cause of your trouble, then I'm willingly going away from your life... but please, don’t hurt yourself. I can't take that. '

With that Jungkook got up but couldn’t walk away. A sturdy grip on his wrist was stopping him. He looked back and found Taehyung, looking like a total mess and staring at him with big teary eyes.
- ' I...didn’t want to...I...I'm sorry. I messed up everything... I...please.. don't   go away....Kookie...please...I was confused...I was...I-'
Taehyung was shushed by the warm embrace he was pulled into. Jungkook sat on the floor right beside him and wrapped his arms around him in a protecting way.
- ' Shh...calm down Tae. I'm right here, see? I'm going nowhere. I thought you did all that because of me-'
- ' No no....it was all my fault. I was the one who was confused with my feelings. I never thought it would become like this.'
- ' And why were you confused with your feelings? '
Taehyung buried his face on Jungkook's chest and hugged him tightly.
- ' What it is Tae? Tell me...what kind of feelings? You were talking a bit unnaturally before this week...I remember that. Anything related to that? '
- ' I don’t know Kook....I don’t know exactly what type of feelings are these. All I know is ...I...want to be with you and that makes me happy. I feel safe and relieved when you're around. I want to give you my best and to make you happy in every ways possible. I like every bit of you...I like the actual person you are beyond this body. I can connect with you a bit differently....that's all I can tell. There are many more feelings but I don’t know how to express them in words. I don’t know...why this is happening... is this even normal or not...but this is how I feel. Kook...don't hate me for that, please? I promise I'll try to sort things out.'

Jungkook said nothing....just patted Taehyung's back and slowly stroked his hair
- ' Hey..I'm never going to hate you whatever the situation maybe. I don’t know what is normal and not...I don’t know why this is happening...but all I know is that, Taehyung, I will always be your friend. You're really very precious to me...after-all you're the one who taught me to live properly. Whatever your feelings are ...let them be...and you're feeling all the good emotions right? Then what is the problem? Let it be. Just...don't push yourself for anything and live just like before. You'll not get a second chance in life Tae...live it fully without any regret...and if you really feel good with me and can connect with me, then I am willing to be with you till my day of departure comes. '
