UNSPOKEN HEARTACHE (22)

- ' Jennie? '
Jennie looked up from her computer screen and saw Seokjin. After working for whole day, Jennie insisted her brothers to have some rest for the night, so she was alone in their laboratory, and  definitely wasn’t expecting anyone at this hour of night.

- ' Oppa..you? Any problem? '
- ' May I come in? '
Jennie gave her sweet smile
- ' Of course. No need to ask. '
Seokjin returned the smile and came in
- ' I'm really sorry to disturb you...but I.. needed to talk with you. '
- ' Sure. Tell me. '

Seokjin then described his conversation with Namjoon yesterday....and what he said about love.

- ' I said nothing...but I can totally see that there's a story behind it. A person so gentle and kind like him...why he lashed out like that? I didn’t want to bother him about this...so..I'm asking you instead. Can you tell me what's wrong? Only if...you think that's fine..I mean..I'm..no one to ask personal questions- '
- ' No oppa...I can understand why you asked. Don't mind his words please... this is the only topic where my oppa gets rude and impolite. Otherwise he-'
- ' I know Jennie..I know. That's why I asked you. '
Jennie took a breath and started saying
- ' Well...we may look all happy now, but it was not always like that. 10 years ago... our parents went away in an accident. Then, our one and only relative, our uncle took care of us. But... that didn’t last for long. 5 years ago... he also left us...'
Jennie stopped. Talking about this was always hard. Seokjin patted her back sympathetically
- ' I...had no idea. I'm very sorry Jennie..I shouldn’t have asked this...'
- ' No no...it's...fine. Anyways...soo..after that, we all became really lonely, but oppa never let us feel that..he was always guarding us and gave all the love and care. But...he...he was very broken and alone at that time. '
Seokjin felt really bad for Namjoon...it must have been really hard for him.

- ' That was the time he met him.'
- ' Met who? '
- ' Met Antonio....his batch mate and the boy he loved with all of his heart. '

Seokjin blinked a few times, and then said
- ' He...loved..a boy? '
- ' Yeah...he likes boy. '
- ' And..that's..normal? '
Jennie looked at the confused man and smiled
- ' Of course oppa! Loving is totally normal...no matter who we love. If it's love, then it's totally okay. '
- ' Oh...'
Seokjin paused, processed the whole matter , then said
- ' Uh...I've never heard this...so...that's why..it's a bit new for me. Don't mind please. '
- ' I get it oppa...you're...from a different place...it's okay. Many people here are still not okay with the fact that we can love who we want to. Anyways...soo.. back to the story. '
- ' Yes...what happened then? '
- ' Then...Antonio was an easygoing and friendly guy...so they became friends easily. Antonio became the shoulder he needed....the affection he was craving. Oppa fell in love with him. He loved him with all of his heart....but.. '
- ' But? '
- ' But...one day, he just went away. Just disappeared, cutting every ways to reach him. '
- ' What? How is that possible? He..must  have told Namjoon..right?'
- ' No. He didn’t say a single word...just vanished one day. It's still a mystery why he did that. '
- ' No one could give any tress of him?'
- ' His family said that he left for further education and he wanted to finish this relationship and forbid oppa to contact him. '

Seokjin looked puzzled and disheartened. Jennie sighed and said
- ' That was a very hard time...he needed almost an year to become normal. But only from outside...I know he's still hurting inside. Once the softest lover boy now hates love. '
Seokjin looked at distance and said
- ' He's a great actor...I almost believed that his life is just perfect. '
- ' He acts normal infront of everyone...  but he's not. He bottled up a storm inside. '
- ' But that's not a good thing. It will only hurt him more. '
- ' I know...but he's very rigid on this point. I really don’t know if anyone would be able to reach his heart again or not. '
- ' If nothing else...a friend can be a bit helping on time like this. Right? '
Jennie nodded and looked at Seokjin with bright eyes
- ' Can...you..'
- ' Yes..I really want to help him. At least..I can be a good friend and listen to all his untold stories...and you know what Jennie? He deserves better...he's a good human. No one should give up on love...one day or other, this precious gift  will come to everyone. We have to believe and have faith. Love is a simple yet rare feeling that can change our whole world. I will try my best to make him believe in love again. '
Jennie shooted a bright smile and said
- ' Thank you....thanks a lot Seokjin oppa. Yes..a friend can do a lot. If his pain goes away even a bit...I'll be forever thankful to you. '
- ' No need...just keep working. I'll try my best, okay?'
- ' Okay oppa.'

Now we know what Namjoon went through in past.
