After their first date, the boys went on multiple more dates. And since then, Yeonjun has been nothing but sweeter towards the blue haired boy.

Days have been kinder as the older had been leaving different types of pastries together with an almond milk every morning inside his locker and Soobin wasn't complaining about it at all- he never had time to grab breakfast on the way to school anyways.

Every friday when soobin sits on the bench to either write song for his assignments or to sing the written songs, Yeonjun always accompanied him- sat under the nearby tree while he does his own art related works. The two never talked much with both busied with their own stuffs but whenever their gazes lingered on each other, smiles were always exchanged .

During lunch times, Yeonjun has adapted a cute habit of sticking little sticky notes onto soobin's shirt- always filled with doodles or sometimes with short yet sweet messages like "Hope you do well today^^" "Fighting on your exams" "I am proud of you " "Don't forget to take a break" - all sorts of encouragement that could lift the taller's glum moods.

Soon, Soobin grew fond of those aesthetic little notes overtime and so ended up decorating them inside his locker instead of throwing away.

On days when they were too busy to see each other, both loaded with assignments or school activities, Yeonjun still made sure to check up on the younger, reminding him not to skip meals or asking him about how his long day went.

These little efforts that Yeonjun was putting out for him, soobin wanted to mirror them back.

He really does.

He wished he could return the same amount of efforts.... but not now.

The pink haired boy would understand him though- hopefully.

Soobin still visits his former lover's grave every week-  heart was still heavy with grief after all.

The boy always went there to talk about his day and stresses.

But now he chatters about Yeonjun.

It didn't feel right though, that he's been going on dates with the older boy. Truth to be told, It felt as though he was cheating even.

"Hey love, would you be mad if i try to love yeonjun one day?"

"Is it right for me to do that?... "

He paused, graveled with the thought that his former lover would got up from the grave and threw fits. Of course it would never happen though.

The dead will remain dead.

The night air had thickened together with his sadness as the tall boy stalked back towards his apartment. Seeking for a mental distraction, the boy fished his phone out to message the pink haired boy. As messenger was opened, Soobin realized that he still hasn't replied to yeonjun's "hey binnie, wanna hang out today?" since the morning.

The boy mentally scolded himself for being forgetful but then it was just a normal occurrence for Soobin to sometimes not respond to Yeonjun's texts.

Despite him being late to texts, the older had never gotten mad, sad or complained about them.

Yeonjun understands..right?

The light foot steps came to a stop when a glimpse of pink shade was caught poking through the glass of a cafe he was passing by.
