Yeonjun wearily sat up from the curled up position, eyes droopy as he was met with the sight of his aunt picking up the messy ball of clothes on the carpeted floor.

Jessi is literally an angel.

It's hard to comprehend how his aunt found patient in babysitting him for the whole month. Even though he felt quite baneful of his existence to burden his one and only aunt, yeonjun still couldn't bring himself to start being responsible for minimal things like cleaning his room- when even waking up was hard enough.

And unfortunately he still woke up everyday.

A month ago, the pink haired boy has left the mighty Korea for the improvement of both his mental and physical state.

It was for the best, all for himself.

Right?

So why is his condition not getting better and instead worsened?

Even though Jessi has constantly nagged him to explore various new places with her, Yeonjun has barely stepped out of his new home - mostly for his medical appointments that was accompanied by his aunt herself.

Unlike before, for his heart check up, he was required to visit the hospital only once a month, however for the appointment with his psychiatrist, he was forced to meet them every three days- even though the boy likes to think that it's a very fruitless routine.

All his psychiatrist did was ask him very basic things- sort of "How have you been feeling?" "Are you sleeping well at night?"  which yeonjun choose to respond with bratty yet honest short answers since well -he doesn't believe talking could cure the curse of the emptiness that ruffled him everyday. Truthfully, the hours of long sessions usually ended up with the doctor's defeated sighs and worn out looks.

Despite being prescribed of antidepressants and sedatives, yeonjun found no improvement in his crumbling state.

Ever since yeonjun left Soobin, he had been keeping his distance from the taller boy and everyone associated with him. Even though he's been reading the messages from his ex, he didn't have the heart to contact back since he reckons that it would only afflict more torture to his already wounded heart.

Jessi was a managing director at a famous company and regardless of her busy schedules, she made time to take care of the younger boy, almost like a mom.

Every mornings, she prepared him healthy breakfasts and when she came back from work, the first thing the woman does was to check on Yeonjun- if he drank his medicines or ate proper lunch. Whenever she's not busy with work loads, the woman would drag the sluggish yeonjun out of his room,  just to make him watch sit-coms with her- "healing time" was what she reasoned.

Albeit her attentive efforts, yeonjun couldn't untangle himself from the cage of melancholy.

Whenever his aunt's presence was gone, he spend him time mostly by using his phone or sleeping, since without doing anything in particular, the boy had been experiencing the rapid depletion of energy for some odd reason.

In fact, it's been so hard- so difficult to just function normally.

The most treasured, i-pad and pen laid on the lone desk of his room for the whole month, untouched, might even be painted with dust by now and sadly, if this goes on, yeonjun would even lost the passion for art.

Moreover, he's even failing to perform basic tasks like doing his laundries, cleaning his room or to drag his body into the shower, which in fact in some days, he just laid unmoving on his bed for 48 whole hours. In days like that, his aunt- instead of scolding him would just try to organize his room without much comment while bringing him the meals inside- meals which yeonjun couldn't care about.
