<Chapter Thirty: Where is my angel?>

"Jennie please"

The tall boy groans in frustration, face shoved into his palms while the black haired girl sheepishly grinned at his annoyance.

Soobin has been sitting at the uni's library since the morning- mainly for the purpose of working on his final papers. Even though, he still was not in the best mood to put much concentration into the studies, the dead lines were not cutting any slack for him. Thus pulling up all his mental strength, the boy had dragged himself into the place he usually could not be found at.

The blue haired boy was pretty much dissolved in his own work loads- that was until Jennie came and placed herself on the unoccupied seat right across him.

Seeing her smitten smirk, Soobin recalled about that one post that Jennie uploaded last week when the two met at a nearby cafe.

Well, they didn't meet up without a particular reason- which only was because Soobin had to create an instrumental piece for the film production club, which Jennie belongs as a member.

 They had some desserts together after their detailed discussion about the project and Jennie being the goofy girl she was, took a photo of the taller boy. Thanks to the aloofness that he adapted as a habit these days, soobin failed to notice the action and only when people around him started questioning about a mysterious photo of the two, the boy realized what the playful girl has done.

"Delete it , people think we are dating!!!"

Soobin unsubtly sends a glare to the older girl, who was still looking at him with a teasing manner.

"like hell we would brooo- I told you I only posted that to make my crush jealous!"

"yea fuck whatever, just delete it and stop disturbing me, if i can't put up my paper in time ,it's on you and I will let everyone in the school know that your crush is L-"

At that the girl jolted up from her seat with panicked expression and leaned in just to smack harshly on soobin's resting hand making him yelped in silence. 

"Shuttt up, I am deleting it now okk jeez " 

Anyhow, Jennie, as Soobin wanted, left him after showing him the prove of the deleted post.

With that, the boy once again went back onto focusing on his studies though a flicker of thought about a certain pink haired boy threatened to invade his mind.

The  warm crispy air emblazed with the ray of faint sunlight welcomed Soobin as he stepped out of his university's hall. Hands thrusted inside the worn out jean's pocket and air pods adorning his ears, the tall boy strode across the campus in a disheartened steps only to take a stop at a familiar spot.

The little spot where he used to sing with his guitar, where he used to receive the looks of adoration, where he used to sing with the fullness of the heart yet now only reminds him the contentedness he once had the chance to grasp. 

The place no longer felt of gratification nor supports him with the relish he yearns for.  

After an aimless stare at the nothingness, Soobin pulled a long sigh- oh how great it would be if the heaviness of each breath could be unloaded with it.

For the first time in forever, Soobin cooked- to be more specific, a kimchi stew. 

He was suddenly craving for some savory meal after getting fresh out of the shower. The boy needed to continue his papers but before that- filling up his stomach was a usual priority.

The tall boy hasn't had a home made meal for such a long time and the idea of cooking suddenly pinched his interest and so while suiting youtube as his friend, Soobin walked up to his kitchen for the task.
