<Chapter Thirty Four: I just wanna sleep Until the day before I met you >

Soon it was finally the day, the long waited graduation which everyone has been enthralled to attend.

Once the entrance gate of the university has been unlocked, the spacious campus have been straight off hogged up with busy university staffs, parents and students- each of them engrossed in their own respective moments. 

Soobin's parents were also presented, sat together with the tall boy and his timid lover who seemed to be abashed at the proper encounter with the elders -though they weren't acting a bit intimidating. Attempting on easing down the older boy, soobin has ran his thumb along the other's knuckles, rubbing the skin softly in a circular motion.

The ceremony wasn't as boring as Soobin had expected- well the speech from the head master is an exception though. But aside from that mind-numbing monologue, the rest of the event was exhilarating enough- students of the different majors taking turns to receive their precious decorated thin papers while cheers and teasing woo-wees roared throughout their sound proof air conditioned auditorium. 

More chipper screams surged through the air when it was finally soobin's turn, the infamous soccer team caption- the benefits of the popularity he reaped. The taller let out a big dimpled grin as he lets his eyes roam over the familiar faces and lastly stopped on the spot where his lover and family was located - his parents clapping with their typical proud beams while yeonjun gave him the crescent eye smile- soobin made sure to replicate it.

Soon it was the turn of his two younger friends, both wearing goofy smiles as they stalked towards the stage. 

How did huening kai even managed to  finish all his paper loads within 3 days before the due date?- soobin honestly was speechless but he noted that the wild youngster must has his own ways. What matters is that in the end, they all managed to graduate together.

More and more figures of which Soobin could not recognize, was called out for the acceptance of their degrees and only after what it seemed like eternity, the moment he's been biding for arrived.

 It was eventually the time for his beloved boyfriend to get upon the stage and after a nervous squeeze on the taller's hand, Yeonjun gracefully paced towards the platform. 

When he was finally standing face to face with the head master, who was about to deliver him the overpriced paper, Soobin was smiling mischievously, hands gripped tight onto the bouquet of peonies- which taehyun and kai has brought sneakily for him. 

And that didn't go unnoticed by Yeonjun who wasn't making effort to hide his stare towards the taller boy as his eyes swayed across the crowd underneath. 

Again the cries of cheers with the hushed ooohs  boomed through the joyful air, as Soobin swiftly got out from his seat and ran towards, up the stage as his boyfriend just stilled at his initial position. 

"Congratulations junni" he gently voiced while handing the older boy the bouquet of pink petals that matched with his pink dusted cheeks. 

Yeonjun only smiled with a shy demeanor. 

"Thanks binni" 

The head master who was awkwardly smiling beside the two boys was already looking expectantly at soobin- signaling him to get back to his seat. 

However, soobin, the playful boy he was, did more.

It didn't happened slowly, not magically, not quite romantically like in iconic romantic films but the thrilling blood rush was quite a satisfaction to the tall boy as he pulled yeonjun's right hand in a keen motion and garnished the ring finger with a shiny ornament.

A plain but a textured ring, plated with rose gold and a tint of silver.

Yeonjun's shocked gasp was instantly drowned away by the squeals and thundered claps of everyone in the room and instead of providing the stunned boy with typical cheesy words that would normally follow in this kind of situation, soobin just did a quick playful wink before getting off the stage with a winner's grin and the same piece of pretty material endorsed on his own hand.
