"You feeling better aunty?" I handed her a glass of water.
"Yes slightly...." Aunty nodded.
"It's already close to midnight you should take aunty home." I looked at the clock then looked at Lucas.
"Her bed's over here." Lucas reached up for a shelf at the top and true enough a bed had fell from the celling.
'She really does live in her office!' I was shocked.
"Take a break mum."
"Yeah su-"
"Now. You going to continue working the moment I leave."
'Geez! Lucas really knows he's mum very well!' Aunty sighed and slightly smiled before headed to her bed.
'Poor Aunty... She got scared the life out of her...' Lucas sat on her desk and looked over some papers for awhile before getting up and pointing towards the door.
'Is he trying to say that he's going out?' I pointed to him then the door. Lucas nodded an quietly opened the door and went out.
'I wonder why he suddenly needed to go out....' I sat there on the couch for a few minutes....
'tired.....' before I knew it I fell asleep.
~Lucas POV~
'Who the hell though it was a good idea to poison me!?!'
I flipped through mum's papers hopping to get some work done for her but then it clicked in my head.
'Athy hasn't eaten at all....' I looked at Athy who seemed to also be looking at me.
'I guess I'll go buy us some food.' I got up from mum's seat and pointed towards the door.
Athy looked at my for a second tilted her head then pointed to me then the door.
'Thank god she understood me!' I nodded then headed out.
'Which store would be open at midnight!' I walked towards the cafe since that was the food district.
'Macdonald's is still open...' I walked inside and there was barely anyone there, which was expected since it's midnight.
'How much could she eat?' I looked at the menu and took out some cash.
"Can I get 2 big Macs, a double hamburger, and a double fillet." The cashier was shocked which I eventually go used to since she always ordered alot.
' I don't even know if I ordered enough for her....' I got my order and started heading back to the office.
'Shes sleeping....' I couldn't help but smiled to myself at how cute she was looking right now.
'I have three options... Wake her up so she can eat.... shift her into a more comfortable position or carry her to her dorm....'
'If I don't feed her now she'll wake up grumbling for food in a horrible mood....' I shivered remembering the last time she slept on an empty stomach.
'Let that be the first and the last time I see her like that...' I put the food on the table and gently tapped her shoulder.
"Athy." I called her in a soft tone not to scare her up ask not to wake mum up.
"I bought food for you.." In an instant she woke up.
'If only I discovered this trick earlier! That would've made waking her up 10× easier!'
