33 - Stupid pill

  "Lucas...." I called silently with my eyes closed, feeling much better compared to yesterday but still weak and horse.

  "I thought I already told you don't talk to me in that voice!" I immediately heard Lucas say I couldn't help but smile.

  'You did stay...' I smiled at how sweet he was being, when I told him to stay Jennette interrupted him and he didn't have a chance to reply so I thought he wouldn't stay.

  "I'm sorry this is how I sound like in the morning, it's not my fault." I opened my eyes and sat up and saw Lucas sitting on the couch on his phone with his eyes darting from me to the phone.

  'Was he blushing?' I seriously thought that the great teaser Lucas blushed. Why did he blush? I have no clue...

  "What are you looking at Lucas?" I slowly got of the bed refraining from any vigorous movement that might send pain throughout my entire body.

  "Um just texting my mum." Lucas replied oddly focused on texting. Lucas was someone who was used to half hearted texting unless it was important.

  'I wanna see.' I moved over to sit by him in the couch.

  "Lucas do you think Andrew found out and payed them to not speak?" I asked I was peering over his shoulder so my mouth was right at his ear.

  I saw how his face turned red as he moved away from me.

  "Athy do not speak so close to my ear." Lucas said in a strict and serious voice but due to his blushing face he didn't look scary like he would've been.

  'Did he not notice me getting close to him?.... Why is he blushing... Not gonna lie it's cute tho....' I blushed at me own thoughts but looked at him with an indifferent expression.

  "Why?" I asked him.

  "Why? Women! You-!" Lucas stopped himself and sighed leaving me clueless.

  "Your too innocent to know what you did..." He chuckled slightly which made me blush harder.

  "Ugh! Anyway. What do you think about what I said?" I asked seeing if he was even listening to me.

  "Uh... What did you say?" Lucas asked confirming my suspicion that he wasn't listening

  "I said do you think Andrew paid them to shut up." Lucas looked at me and looked at the phone as if he was thinking..... He then looked at me and nodded.

  "That would explain...." Lucas said while still slightly nodding.

  "He's from a family of merchants so it would make sense he was all sorts of connections." I added on another point which kids looked and me and smiled as if proud of me.

  Lucas moved towards me and out his hand on my head and petted me.

  "Your so smart Athy." Lucas said smiling.

  At this very moment I seemed to have malfunctioned.... He looked so hot but he was being so sweet at the same time!!!! I didn't know how to react I just blushed like mad and looked away.

  "Your red Athy." Lucas said chuckling making me turn redder.

  "I'll stop don't worry... Come on go change. We are going to be late." Lucas got up from the couch.

  I didn't even know what I was thinking but I pulled him arm making him sit back down.

  "I want more pets...." I said my face was literally so red like a cherry right now, I placed his hand on my head and I looked down and blushed.

  "Geez.... Why are you so cute..." Lucas petted me and for some reason I felt relaxed... I felt happy...

  "Seriously though we have to start moving or else we are going to be late.... You don't want that right Athy?" Lucas said though he was basically rushing me he still continued petting me head.

  "Fine..." I reluctantly agreed and walked away.

  "Don't pout..." I felt two hands wrap be from behind.

  "I'm not pouting...." I was upset that I didn't get to spend more time with him...

  "When did you become so needy and clingy." Lucas chuckled his mouth was close to my ear so I felt his breath and I couldn't help but blush.

  'That's what he meant but what effect this action does...' I blushed as I felt him slowly releasing me.

  "It must be the pill I think...." I said trying to make an excuse for me own unusual behavior.

  "Uh-huh..."I turned around and saw Lucas grinned mischievously.

  "I mean it would make sense but..." Lucas slowly walked towards me and slightly bent down so that his lips was literally right by my ear.

  "I think your just starting to like me a little too much." Lucas said in a whispering voice.

  I blushed as I jumped away with both my hands covering my ear that he was so close to, I was the greeted with a intolerant able pain.

  "You ok athy?" Lucas whipped that grin of his face and looked genuinely worried.

  "How long more is this going to last..." I wined.

  "Probably untill tomorrow at max."

  "Ugh!"

  "I seriously have to run now Athy we are going to be late." Lucas smiled at me and hugged me with no warning whatsoever, then left my dorm room leaving me there blushing.

  'Lucas!!! Why are you making my heart go crazy!!!' I complained in my mind as I dressed myself up in a new set of school uniform.

  'But am I really becoming a clingy person?' I questioned myself as I was still changing.

  'Normally I don't admit that I want him to pet me more nor do I beg for him to stay with me over night....' I blushed as realization hit me how clingy I've been.

  'I swear it's the stupid pill! It's definitely not me getting too clingy over that handsome, hot and sweet lunatic!'

  'Did I just call him handsome? And hot!?! Ugh!!!' I groaned extremely annoyed with myself.

  'I swear it's the stupid pill!'
