"Really?! You know how to ride a horse?!"
After having breakfast, the three are now planning on doing some activities. I excused myself because I suddenly had a call from the office at pagbalik ko iyon na ang pinag-uusapan nilang tatlo. Ang pangangabayo.
"Me and my cousins used to race at lolo's farm when I was young.
"Same! Kuya and I used to race too. It's funny 'cause that's the only time I hear him speak. Kapag tinatrashtalk niya ako." Kwento ni Sabrina.
It's cute how Sabbie and Syd can get along in simple conversations like this. Ang dami nilang napagkakasunduan.
I pulled a chair beside Sydney when I reached them. Dad checked if the horses are in good condition kaya umalis muna ito para puntahan ang caretaker ng mga kabayo.
"How about you, babe? Do you know how to ride a horse?" Sydney asked as I sat beside her.
"Hmm. A bit." I shrugged my shoulders.
I learned how to ride a horse because uncle takes me with him when they're playing polo before.
"Anyways, I can't come with you. I have an urgent meeting with my team. I almost forgot about it, buti na lang tinawagan ako ni Carl."
"Aw. Sayang naman." Sabbie sighed.
"It's fine. I'll join you guys next time."
I watched the three mount the horses. Sabbie was very comfortable with the horse she calls Poe. She said it's her favorite horse because of it's brown color. And when I asked her the name of the white one, she said it's Junior since he's the youngest.
"And the black one?" I asked her the name of the black horse.
"Fernando." She answered.
Sydney bursted in laughter. I didn't get the pun right away kaya kumunot ang noo ko kay Sabbie.
"Bakit Fernando?" I asked.
"Just so he'd fit. You know. Fernando Poe Junior." At saka nito isa isang itinuro ang nga kabayo. I shook my head at her explanation.
Sydney is riding the white one. They call it JR, short for Junior. And dad is riding on Fernando. As soon as the three got lost in my view when the horses started sprinting, I went to my room to talk to the team via video call.
The team reported to me the progress in every project. After that I also dismissed them right away.
I drove the off-road vehicle going to the barn to see if they are still there. The three are having fun playing polo in the wide field.
I smiled watching the three enjoying the game.
