Chapter 12

"Sam, please sorry na." Si Carrie.

Umaga palang ay nandito na siya sa labas ng bahay at hinihintay akong lumabas. Kaya lang, hindi ako lumalabas ng bahay kapag wala akong ibang pupuntahan kaya hapon ko na nalaman na naroon siya. Bilang isang may konsensyang tao, pinapasok ko siya to show consideration. But now, she doesn't want to go lalo pa nang inamin ko na sa kanya na I have mutual understanding with Sydney's affection towards me.

"You are forgiven, Carrie-" I said, trying to explain it to her.

"Then why are you turning me down now?" She asked.

"Because this is the truth. No matter what I do, yun ang totoo at kailangan natin itong tanggapin. At ayokong mas lalo ka pang masaktan sa huli. I like somebody else. And you have to accept it." I said calmly.

"I won't give you up, Sam. You know that." She said as a matter of factly.

I sighed in defeat. "Okay. Bahala ka." I said and turned my back. Napapikit ako sa sobrang stress sa kanya.

"Is there anything else?" Humarap ako muli sa kanya.

Umiling siya. "You may now leave, then." Sabi ko.

"Why? May pupuntahan ka?" She curiously asked.

"Yes." I simply answered to finish the discussion.

"Where?" She asked again.

My goodness! I can't stand her anymore!

"Dyan lang."

I am deeply trying to hide the anger in my way of speaking. But when,

"I'm coming with you!" She insisted.

"No."

"Why?"

"Basta. Hindi pwede."

"Bakit? Saan ba punta mo?"

"Bakit ba ang kulit mo? It's none of your business. If you came here to say sorry, pinapatawad na kita. You may now leave. So please. Leave!" Inis kong sabi sa kanya bago siya iniwan at umakyat sa kwarto ko.

Padarag akong naupo sa kama ko dahil sa inis. She's the reason why Sydney doesn't want to talk to me yesterday. And she said sorry and I forgave her. Pero what the fuck is so hard to understand with my explanation? May gusto na akong iba. And she's the reason why the person I like is now having more reasons to move on from me. Damn it!

Truth be told, I wasn't really going anywhere that day. But because of what happened napilitan akong sumama kanila Cyreen sa bar.

I still couldn't get over with it. Hanggang sa pagsundo sa akin ni Cyreen para sa pagpunta namin sa bar, badtrip ako.

I was wearing a blue cropped top shirt and a highwaist jeans paired with an inch high heels when Cy came. Nakasimangot akong pumasok sa sasakyan niya.

"Oh ba't ganyan itsura mo?" Tanong ni Cyreen pagsakay ko palang sa sasasakyan niya.

Umiling na lamang ako.

"Wow. Confidential?" She teasingly asked.

Inirapan ko na lamang siya.

"Ano ngang nangyari?" Pangungulit niya pa rin. "Ngayon ka na lang ulit sumama sa amin tapos parang wala ka lang din."

I sighed. "Carrie went to my house a while ago."

She raised her brows at me. "Then?"

"I told her to stop liking me anymore. But she doesn't want to." I told her.
