Love Story (Seongjoong)

Seonghwa lifted Hongjoong into his arms and made his way to his bedroom, placing him down carefully on the bed. He was still but Seonghwa was happy he was alive.  

As he sat down next to Hongjoong, a phone rang and Seonghwa grabbed in. It was Hongjoong's phone. He answered and held the phone up to his ear.

"H-hello"? 

"Wait, where's Hongjoong? Who is this"?

"Who are you first"? Seonghwa asked.

"It's Yunho. Where's Hongjoong"? Yunho said, a small growl escaping.

"Well, I never thought a fucking mutt would want to keep in contact with a human. And it's Seonghwa".

"What did you do to Hongjoong? Where is he"?! Yunho shouted.

"I'm with Hongjoong! Call him later, p-please. If you want, you can come by my house later and talk to him if you want". 

"Fine". Yunho hung up and Seonghwa placed the phone down and sighed. 

"Please wake up soon Joongie", he whispered.

Hongjoong twitched and moved his head slightly, letting out a quiet groan. He opened his eyes slowly and looked around before trying to sit up, only to scream in pain as his broken leg moved. The door flew open and Seonghwa ran in.

"Joong"! Hongjoong looked up at him and smiled slightly.

"H-hey Hwa". 

"I'll get Yeosang". Seonghwa disappeared and within a few minutes, returned with Yeosang. 

"Hey Joong. How are you feeling"? Yeosang asked as he sat down next to the bed. 

"Ok I guess. Still kinda dizzy and lightheaded but other than that and a broken leg, I'm ok". Yeosang smiled as he got to work. 

"I had Wooyoung go and get a pair of crutches for you. He should be back soon". Hongjoong nodded and winced as Yeosang carefully wrapped his leg up. 

"Rest up for a bit. You can still move around but not too much, ok"?

"O-ok. Thank you Sang". Yeosang smiled and walked out. Hongjoong carefully moved his legs over the side of the bed and Seonghwa sat down next to him. Hongjoong stood up, using the wall as support and made his way out the room. Seonghwa didn't ask where he was going. He stayed silent. 

Hongjoong entered the bathroom and washed his face. As he turned off the tap and looked at himself in the mirror, Hongjoong's eyes wandered to the bite mark on his neck and he ran a finger along it. He sighed and made his way back to the bedroom, sitting down next to Seonghwa. 

"A-are you ok"? Seonghwa asked. 

"Yeah I'm ok Hwa".

"I-I'm sorry", Seonghwa whispered, not looking Hongjoong.

"Why are you sorry? Because I was attacked"? 

"Because I nearly killed you".

"Hwa, I'm ok and I'm still here", Hongjoong said, holding Seonghwa's hand. 

"But I-I couldn't stop. I didn't listen to the others when they told me to stop. I-If you hadn't spoken, I would've killed you". 

"Seonghwa, look at me". Seonghwa turned to him.

"Stop blaming yourself. I'm alive and ok". Before Seonghwa spoke, there was a loud knock at the front door.

"Oh, I, um, allowed Yunho to come over if that's ok". Hongjoong smiled.

"Of course that's ok". As he stood up, Wooyoung entered.

"I got you a pair of crutches". He handed them to Hongjoong and smiled.

"Thanks Woo". The three exited the room and made their way downstairs and Hongjoong saw Yunho and Mingi at the door, talking with Yeosang. 

"Hey guys", he called, walking over with Seonghwa.

"Hey Joong-" Yunho said, before stopping mid sentence. His eyes widened. 

"J-Joong, your n-neck"... Hongjoong realized what he was talking about and covered it with his hand.

"Shit"... 

"You said he was ok"! Mingi shouted, stepping forward.

"Mingi, I am ok". Seonghwa stood in front of him.

"I didn't lie to you".

"He's been bitten! By your kind"! Yunho shouted, his eyes turning a golden colour. 

"Yunho, stop please", Hongjoong tried to say but no one heard him. 

"I didn't bite him"! 

"Liar"! Yunho suddenly shifted into a large wolf with blonde fur and golden eyes. Hongjoong's eyes widened and backed away. Seonghwa walked forward, causing Yunho and Mingi to back away outside.

"Stop this now! I didn't bite him! He was attacked by another vampire"! Yunho growled as Seonghwa spoke. Hongjoong moved closer on his crutches. 

"Yunho, Mingi, enough"!! He shouted. Everyone turned to him. 

"Seonghwa didn't attack me! He saved me! If he didn't save me, I'd be dead right now"! Yunho calmed down slightly and looked at Hongjoong. 

"Joong, just leave it please. If they're gonna start something, they can leave".

"No Hwa. I'd actually like them to explain what the fuck just happened? I mean... Yunho's a wolf"!? Hearing his name, Yunho looked up at Hongjoong before shifting back to human.

"You were new. Why in the hell would we tell a new comer straight away"? Yunho asked.

"Yunho, I found about about Seonghwa in two days and didn't run off scared". 

"That's true. But vampires and werewolves are different".

"Beside the fact that everyone thinks you guys are just a myth", Hongjoong said. Mingi chuckled.

"Yeah. But we ain't myths. We all just do a good job at hiding from the public eye".

"But not from one another", Seonghwa added as he stood next to Hongjoong. 

"We'll get going I guess", Yunho said. 

"Wait, if... the others don't mind, you two can stay. If you want to". Hongjoong looked at Seonghwa as he spoke. 

"Well I don't mind. It'll keep you more safe as well". 

"Hey! I was ok until he found me".

"You hid behind the lounge Joong", Seonghwa said, letting out a giggle. 

"Don't laugh. I'm not the best at hiding. But"... Hongjoong turned to Seonghwa and whispered. 

"I won't have to after my birthday". He then kissed Seonghwa and smiled. 

"You still really want that? You now know how painful it is". 

"What's going on"? Yunho asked as he and Mingi walked over.

"N-nothing", Hongjoong quickly said as they group headed inside.
