After leaving Ines's room, I naturally went back to the guests hall to see Nadir again before he leaves, It was already very inappropriate of me to walk out in the first place and to treat him rudely even though he made no mistake.

When I opened the door and walked inside, they were all still sitting in their initial positions, all except for Akrem of course, he was no longer there.

_" How is Ines?" Eliyas immediately asked.

Although I wanted to give him the cold shoulder and pretend I couldn't see him, I still figured out it's better for me to act like a decent and obedient wife in front of Nadir, in case he indeed married Ines and she gave him the cold shoulder in the future, at least he wouldn't think she is only copying my behavior and blame me for his misery.

_"She's fine." I replied coldly.

The moment I finished saying this, Nadir stood up and said:

_"I will be leaving now Mr Filladi."

Being the gentleman that he is, he must have waited to hear how Ines was doing before leaving, my impression of him was definitely getting better.

Anyways, he steadily walked towards me, then said:

_" Noursine, it was nice meeting you again, take care of your self."

Then he showed him self out right away  without waiting for us to accompany him, at this point I was already done with Eliyas so i angrily gazed at him then commented with displeasure:

_" He was your guest! you brought him here, made him feel unnecessarily embarrassed, the least you could do was to show him out! "

He gracefully stood up, then walked towards me, while seriously looking at my face he said:

_" I don't think I need you to tutor me how to treat my guests, I know what I am doing."

After saying this, he coldly walked pass me and left the hall!

You see, I was supposed to be the one to be cold and indifferent, how did I end up being the one left behind and ignored!!

It is useless in fact trying to beat Eliyas in this attitude, meaning acting cold, since he's the master of it.

Since this was the case, I simply decided to follow him back to our room before Nana wakes up from her long pensive state and she starts to chat endlessly about all that happened, and I mean it literally, there will be an endless chat about my mother and Nadir, so it was better for me to go rest for a while to get ready for it.

When I finally reached our room, I found Eliyas already packing his laptop and checking some papers, once I walked in he immediately informed me:

_" I will work until late tonight, I have bla bla meeting with bla bla ..etc"

I naturally wasn't listening to that, I rarely do in fact, to me it's all work and that's all I should know about, still my smart husband weirdly believes that his business is some sort of a common knowledge that an average person like me obviously knows without a question.

I weakly threw my self on the bed, calmly waited for him until he finished speaking then simply nodded and said:

_" Ok."

_" So you don't wait for me tonight, you better go to sleep."

_"I wasn't planning to wait for you in the first place." I smugly said.

I immediately felt a sense of achievement once I said this! Indeed this world gives the chances for those who patiently wait!

Of course Eliyas was rendered speechless after this, he simply hold his stuff and stormed out of the room without looking back.
