Eliyas developed a new habit: being extra rude to people.

This man is, with no exaggeration or whatsoever, one of the least sociable of people I ever met, for example once when we visited a certain farm with his family, and we found a lot of guests there, it was only natural and awaited from us to blend in among the rest of the guests.

Still, this very arrogant person only spoke with a limited list of people, and it was mainly to them that I was introduced, as for the rest of the guests who by the way were overly welcoming, they were facelessly ignored.

At first I thought Eliyas is one of those people who treat others according to their class and money, which is indirectly offending to me because I'm not someone who was born in a castle, it was inevitable to think "what if this man didn't blindly fall for me, would I be belittled and ignored this way?".

But as I walked more around in his company I finally realized the people he spoke with belonged to only 2 categories:

1- his business associates, with who he only spoke about work before walking away.

2-the unsociable creatures similar to him who stood in the calm corners avoiding the chaos of the crowd and only nodded their heads when we passed by.

When I made this discovery, I realized that my husband's strategy in surviving the social gatherings is to frequent the people who hated them more than he did.

However, during my current pregnancy, even this mild strategy upgraded, and now he's facelessly rude to everyone.

For example, I was at Nana's room sitting on her bed and excitedly showing her the ultrasound pictures of the baby and making her repeatedly listen to the simulated sound of the beating of his heart on my phone when we heard a knocking on her door.

Thinking it was a servant bringing something for us, Nana soon yelled:

_" Come in benti (my daughter)"

When the door was opened though, we were surprised to see Eliyas walking inside the room .

Being the forgetful person that I am, I immediately asked without much thinking:

_" Did you come here to find me because I forgot to take my medecine?"

_" No." He replied coldly.

We then remained silently looking at him obviously waiting to hear what brought him, he didn't say a thing though, he only very awkwardly kept standing near the open door staring at me.

While trying to act like a decent wife and patiently wait for him to do any sort of action, I realized this was only a waste of my life, therefore deciding not to mind his existence, I soon resumed narrating the happenings of my visit to the gynecologist to Nana, which she all heard with a careful and reserved attitude, because she was intensely stared at by Eliyas.

When she couldn't handle the oppressing existence of that cold man, she finally suggested nervously:

_" Noursine, go see what your husband wants."

I soon obeyed her, and turned to look at my husband who was at this point still standing at the same spot but crossing his arms and emitting a very cold aura.

I kissed Nana's forehead, prayed she has a long life, then walked out of her room signaling for him to follow me.

_" What did the doctor say?" He bossily asked the moment he closed Nana's door.

_" She said a lot of things." I logically replied.

If I were to repeat everything she said with precision, I would need a lot of time and medical knowledge, so giving this vague answer was more convenient.
