It's really a pain having an overdramatic body!

There I was only trying to save a good girl from a little bump and I ended up looking like the victim of a serious car accident!

I don't know what happened after I fainted, but I can almost guarantee that my protection team didn't act any less dramatic than my own body, the next thing I remember is me waking up on a hospital bed.

As for the first person my eyes met, it was the last human being I expected to see in such a situation: my dear mother in-law.

She was sitting right beside my bed, once I opened my eyes she was the first person to notice me.

She immediately asked:

_" Are you ok?"

I nodded feeling very confused.

I inspected my body: my forearm and palms had bandage on them, my ankle surprisingly didn't.

_" there's nothing wrong with you, you are perfectly fine, they are just superficial abrasions, they didn't even need stitching, Belguassem asked the nurse to cover them for you because of your phobia." my mother in-law commented.

_" for how long was I absent?" I asked while looking at the sky outside the window, it already looked like early evening.

_" two hours, you were probably just asleep though, that's what the doctor informed us, they gave you a sedative considering your particular condition."

I nodded in understanding, I sat on the bed, then carefully tried to move my ankle, it was almost not hurting at all.

When I made sure I was fine, it finally occurred to me to ask:

_" how come you are here mother?"

I mean, she and I were alone in the room after all, how could such a thing happen?

She eyed me with a very displeased expression, then replied:

_" Belguassem is out in the corridor having a word with Ines, they'll be here anytime, as for mother ( Nana) we didn't inform her, you're fine already so it's better not to stress her at her age, we asked the butler to prevent her from watching tv too, your news are everywhere."

Once she said this, I immediately grabbed my purse which was on the bedside table near me and I checked my phone, to my disappointment, there was no coming call from my husband, is he that upset with me that he couldn't even make the effort to check on me? I mean even his very estranged family was there but he wasn't.

Feeling profoundly disappointed I went to check the news which were spreading about me, the Algerian press is really something if I must say, I was pictured like a hero who tried to save a damsel in distress and was gravely hurt in the process, some even estimated me having a serious head injury.

_" How did the media know about this accident?" I asked.

She eyed me very coldly then replied:

_" and what do you expect!? You're a public figure now! If you act recklessly in a public place even your bodyguards aren't able to prevent news from spreading, luckily nothing happened with you or else the situation could have been much worse."

As she was speaking, the door opened then Ines and my father in-law walked inside, so yes the first thing they heard was my mother in-law lecturing me like the usual.

Ines carefully walked towards me, then she asked worriedly as soon as her mother finished speaking:

_" Are you ok?"

I nodded .. I nodded as well looking at my father in-law greeting him.
I seriously felt very uncomfortable among them.

_"Did you inform Eliyas about what happened?" I whispered addressing Ines.
