Darth Vader felt a disturbance in the force. He sighed, approaching the door to their suite. He knocked lightly. "Angel, can I come in?"
There was no response and he knew that she was still angry. "Angel please, I just want to talk." Still nothing. Not even the children made a noise. Suddenly worried, Vader reached out into the force to look for the familiar life forms of his family. But there was nothing. With a quick wave of his hand, the door flew open and he was faced with an empty room. "Padmé? Luke? Leia?" He called out. He yanked his helmet off and dropped it to the floor, racing around the suite. He checked the closet, the bathroom, and the twins room but they were all empty. "Padmé!" He yelled.

A glint on the bedside table caught his eye, making his heart plummet. It was her wedding ring.

Padmé lounged in the chair, slowly drifting in and out of sleep. They had been flying for hours, and she felt comfort in knowing that the separatist base was far away from them.
"Padmé?" Nova asked hesitantly, sounding unsure at the name.
"Yes?"
"That message you sent, was it a call for help?"
Padmé realised she was referring to when Nova had walked in on her sending a message to Obi Wan.
"No, I wanted to inform Obi Wan about Palpatine's plans to train the kids. I was hoping for some advise in how to guide them away from whatever they were being taught."
Nova hummed in response, nodding her head with a thoughtful look on her face.
"So I'm assuming you haven't received a response yet?" She wondered.
Padmé sighed. "No, and I fear something bad may have happened. The last thing Obi Wan told me was that the rebel's old base had been destroyed."
"It was," Nova nodded. "The main one was on Alderaan, but that was bombed by the separatists."
Padmé gasped, thinking about her friends from that planet that were likely still there.
"Were there many people there?"
"Yes, the rebels lost many people. But we prepared for this, and when under attack, everyone is to split up over bases on different planets. I assume that's what they have done now." Nova explained.
"So which one are we going to?"
"I am unsure where Obi Wan Kenobi is currently, but we will stop on Endor. It's the closest, and last I heard, it was the backup for the main base, which means we'll find some of the highest ranked rebels there."
"Obi Wan told me about Endor. I think that's where he wanted me to go." Padmé remembered the message from a few months ago and hoped that it wasn't too late.
"Perfect. Buckle up, milady. We're almost there."
