I kiss Giselle's neck while I'm still on top of her. "Jennifér?" She says and I pull away, looking at her. "Yeah?" I ask, confused since she stopped me. "What about Leah...?" She asks softly.
I sigh and tilt my head before getting off of her. "What about her?" I ask. "Aren't you two together?" She asks. I get a little quiet and look away. "I don't know...I think so?" I tilt my head.
She looks at me. "Well I don't want to come between you and her." She says. "I don't want you to worry about any of that." I say. "I like you a lot, and maybe we did go too far, but I'm not gonna stop seeing you." I say. "Maybe we should take things slow. Calm down a little bit, ok?" She suggests. "I agree." I say.
I sigh before laying down and bringing a blanket over me. Giselle comes over and lays beside me. I give her some of the blanket and she covers herself as she's facing me.
"Goodnight." She says. "Goodnight." I say softly and close my eyes.

It's 2 months later and I've been going to classes again, which sucks. College usually sucks in general, but it's a lot harder when you're in a whole different country. And to add to that, I'm really homesick. I miss Leah and Sofia...and Sage. Even my mom. I just wish I could see them in person. So I've decided that I'm gonna visit New York. I haven't told Leah that I'm coming, so it'll be a surprise.
I just got off facetime with Sage, and she's super excited to see me. I get to the apartment building after walking home from class, and I greet Giselle at the front desk. "You got a package." She says and hands it to me. "Thankyou." I smile and take it. I go up to my room and open the package.
I smile when I see the cute drawing from Sofia,
then I pick up a card with my name on it. I read the heartfelt card and it ends with 'Love, Leah.' I smile before setting the card on my desk.Once I look at Sofia's drawing again, I pull out my laptop and get some homework done.
About an hour later, I finish and head downstairs. "Hey." I say to Giselle. "Hi." She smiles. "Whatcha workin on?" I ask as she's on the computer. "Just paying some bills." She shrugs. "Ew." I say and she giggles.
"So I have to tell you something..." I say and she tilts her head. "What?" She asks and puts her attention on me. "There's a long weekend coming up, and I'll have no classes for four days..." I start to say.
"And...?" She asks. "I'm gonna go home for a little." I say. "Really?" She asks. "Yeah, just to visit since I finally have time. And I'll be back when the weekend is over." I say. "I think that'll be great for you." She nods. "So you're okay with it?" I ask. "Jennifér- of course. Do whatever you need to do." She nods.

I'm leaving tomorrow to go home, so I'm packing right now. I'm excited to see everyone, and even to meet Leah's new cat. I just wanna be there already.
"Here." Giselle says and hands me some of the stuff from my bathroom that I need to pack. "Thanks." I say and put it in my suitcase.
I zip up my luggage since I have everything packed, then I sit on my bed. "Sleep in my room tonight." I tell Giselle and she tilts her head. "Please? Only because I'm leaving tomorrow." I tell her. "Fine." She smiles.
"I'm gonna go brush my teeth." She says and stands up. I nod as she leaves. I sigh and lay down. Giselle comes back and turns off the light before laying down beside me.

It's the next morning and it's super fucking early since my flight leaves early. I get up as Giselle is still asleep, and I put on some comfortable clothes. I wake up Giselle so we can say our goodbyes.
"I'll miss you." She whispers as we're hugging. "I'll be back before you know it." I say softly. "Take care of my plants, okay?" I say and she giggles. "I will. Don't worry." She says.
We pull away and I grab my suitcase. Giselle walks me out into the hall and we hug one last time. I leave the building and call a cab.
Eventually I get to the airport and wait for my flight to be called. My heart is pounding so fast. I haven't been home in a while, I don't know why I think it'll be different, I'm just so excited.
I'm excited but I'm also sad to be leaving France, and Giselle. But I'll be back in four days. It's almost like I'm going on a little vacation. I can't stop thinking about Leah's face when she sees me on her front porch. I really do love her and I miss her so much.
