*leahs pov*

I was so glad when Jen facetimed me. I was a little confused as to why she was up so late since we have different time zones, but I didn't mind.

I was happy to talk to her, even if she was tipsy, but she randomly just hung up. I'm sure she didn't mean to, it was probably just something with the long distance.

I sigh and put my phone down. Sofia isn't coming back til this weekend, I miss her too. Suddenly I get a text from Jen.

"Hey, sorry lost connection. I'll call you tomorrow."

I read and put my phone back down. I'm so anxious to talk to Jen. I just want to know everything about where she's living, what Paris is like, what the people are like, just everything.

I'm kind of sad since we haven't really talked yet, but I understand that she's busy and she's just taking everything in. I don't wanna bother her.

It's the next day, and I have work, so maybe that will get my mind off things. I get into the office and catch up on all my work. My day wasn't too stressful,
but stressful enough to distract me from everything.

Eventually I get off work and I head home. Right when I walk through the front door, I get a facetime call from Jen. A smile immediately forms on my face and I answer: "Hi Leah." she says sweetly. "Hi mama." I say and shut the front door behind me. "Everything okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, everything's great. Sorry about last night, there was a big thunderstorm and I lost connection." She explains and I nod. "That's okay, I figured." I nod. "What're you doing?" She asks me. "Just got off work. What about you?" I ask and take off my heels.

"Just chillin. I'm taking advantage of this week since I don't have any classes." She says. "Yeah, I'd do the same." I nod. "So how is it there?? I wanna know everything." I say excitingly.

"Well at first, it was pretty shitty. I mean, I showed up to this run down apartment building, wanting to cry once I saw my place. But things have slowly gotten better." She says. "I wanna see your place." I say. "Is it that bad?" I ask. "I mean- it's okay..." She shrugs and flips around the camera.

"So the kitchen and living room are connected." She says and shows me. "Oh..." I say since it isn't that great. "See what I mean..." She says. "It isn't that bad. It's just a little....plain." I shrug. "I know. But I'm working on it!" She says and walks over to a door.

"And this is my room." She says and walks in. "Ok that's kinda cute. Definitely better than the other room." I say and she nods. "Yeah, the only good part about the living room is the nice lighting that the windows bring in. I barely have to turn on the lights during the day." She says. "I believe it." I nod.

"I'll get it cleaned up though. And it'll look a lot better." She says and sits on her bed. "Well I wanna see it once everything is put together." I say and she nods.

"So what are the people like?" I ask. "Really nice actually. It's definitely a lot different than New York. People go out of their way to be nice to you around here." She tells me. "Really?" I tilt my head and she nods.

"It's cool. I like it." She says. "And the clubs- oh my god, they're so fun." She says. "You've already been out partying??" I ask. "Well yeah-." She shrugs and giggles.

"I'm glad you're having fun Jen." I say and she smiles. "And I'm really proud of you." I tilt my head. "Thankyou. I miss you." She says and I press my lips. "I miss you too...a lot." I say.

"I think about you every night." Jen starts to say. "Wishing you were here....touching me....anddd kissing me." She says. "Yeah?" I tilt my head and she nods, biting her lip.
