Cairo's POV
"Come on Koda." I say as the elevator stops on the ground floor. "Let's get this fucking game over with."
When the elevator door opens, Koda and I head outside the hotel then we get on the bus.
Once on the bus, I hang up my suit in the row before Koda and I's row then I sit down next to Koda in our row.
A few minutes later the players get on the bus then we head to Red Bull Arena.
We're playing the Netherlands tonight.
On the way to the stadium I look down at my line-up notes to make sure everything is correct.

After I'm sure everything is correct, I put my notes up then relax for the rest of the drive.
Eventually we get to the stadium so I gather my things as we pull into the parking area.
Once the bus stops, I grab my suit then Koda and I get off the bus and head to the locker room
When we get to the locker room, Koda and I head to the managers office then I put my stuff down before we head outside to check the pitch
Once on the pitch I look up into the friends and family section and see my Omega, my best friend, and my daughter so I sadly wave at them.
Megan, Nova, and Katara wave at me then I follow my team back to the locker room.
Once in the locker room, I head to the managers office then I change out of my tracksuit and into my all black suit while the team warms up.
"How do I look Koda?" I ask as I finish buttoning my shirt.
I'm not wearing a tie today.
Koda yips then she smiles at me so I toss her a treat then I put on my shoes
Once I'm fully dressed, I give myself a once over in a mirror then I put my phone and wallet in my pockets before Koda and I I walk back into the locker room.
When I get to the locker room I stand before my team then a few seconds later I sigh.
"You all know what to do." I say. "Let's just hurry up so I can go back to the hotel."
Koda and I leave the locker room and head out to the friends and family section
When we get to the friends and family section, Katara is lowered down to me then the two of us do a few poses for our matchday fit photo tradition.
"Alright Babygirl." I say after Katara and I pose for our matchday fit photo. "You be good for Nova and I'll see you after the game."
Katara nods and pecks my lips then I hand her back to Nova before Koda and I head to the bench.
When Koda and I get to the bench, I sit down in the second seat closest to the tunnel while Koda sits at my feet.
A minute after we're sat down with the other coaches, the players come out then everyone stands for the anthems.
After the anthems end, the two teams shake hands, the starting eleven take a picture, Becky does the coin toss, then the team has one last huddle before the starting eleven head onto the pitch
"Well Koda." I mumble as the game kicks off. "Let's hope the game ends quickly."

"Cairo
"CAIRO."
"Huh?" I say then I look towards the sound. "Oh hey Christen."
"Games over." Christen says.
"Oh." I say then I stand up. "When'd it end?"
"Like an hour ago."
"Oh." I say. "Did we win?"
"We tied 0-0."
"Oh." I say. "Well I'm gonna go do media so we can leave."
Christen nods then Koda and I walk down the tunnel and head to the media room.
Once in the media room, I stand in front of the press corp.
"Let's hurry this shit up." I mumble.
"Do you know who told?" Meg Linehan asks.
"Carli Lloyd did." I say. "So now she is no longer a part of this team."
"Oh wow." Someone says.
"I told her in November to consider retirement because I had no plans to take her to the Olympics since she's one of the most selfish players I've ever seen and had the displeasure to have met." I say. "She didn't get her way so she tried to take me down with her."
"FUCK CARLI LLOYD." Someone yells as they pass by the media room.
"I have no more to say on the matter because I am taking legal action on Carli and the magazine that published the article." I say then Koda and I leave the room.
After I leave the media room, I head to the locker room then I stand in front of my team.
"I'm...I'm really sorry..."
"There's no need to be." Julie says.
"I think any of would be the same way if people found out something out about us like they found out about you." Tierna says.
"Hell we'd probably be worse." Kristie says.
"Lemme grab my stuff then we can go" I say.
"Already grabbed it." Emma says then she hands me my bag.
I smile at take my bag then all of us head to the bus.
Once on the bus I see two people sitting in my seat.
"MAMA." Katara shouts.
I smile at my baby then I put my bag down in a free row before I sit down next to Megan and Katara.
"Mama." Katara mumbles then she crawls into my lap and puts her head in my neck.
"Hello little one." I whisper then I look at my Omega.
Megan smiles at my then she kisses my cheek before she rests her head on my free shoulder.
"Aww." Christen mouth's.
I stick my tongue out at my childhood neighbor then I kiss my Omega's head before I rest my head on hers and shut my eyes.
What a day.
