Cairo's POV
"See you all in the morning." I say as we step off the bus after our final send off series game in LA.
We beat Jamaica 5-0 in San Diego earlier this week and earlier tonight we beat Mexico 4-0.
"CAIRO." I hear Nova shout then she runs out of the hotel.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"It's Megan." Nova says.
"What happened?" I ask.
"Christen you're in charge of Katara." Nova says then she hands my daughter to Christen. "We'll call in an hour or two."
"Okay?" Christen says then Nova drags me to a rental car as Koda follows.
Once in the car, Nova starts driving somewhere
"What the fuck is going on?" I ask.
"Megan got shot." Nova says.
"Excuse me?" I ask.
"The dude she was making music with tonight shot her in the foot."
"Is the dude in jail?" I ask
"Yeah." Nova says.
"Well I better not see him." I mumble.
"You and me both." Nova says then the two of us sit in silence as we drive to the hospital.
Eventually we get to the hospital so Nova parks then we get out of the car and head inside the hospital.
Once inside the hospital, Nova does all the talking until we're lead back to my Omega's room.
"She's in here." Someone says then Koda walks into my Omega's room.
"I'll go get you some dinner." Nova says.
"Thank you." I say then I head inside.
"Koda." Megan giggles as my service dog licks Megan's face.
"Aww." I say which draws Megan's attention to me.
Megan smiles at me as she scoots over in her bed then I join her in her bed.
Once I'm laying next to Megan, I bring her into my arms as she sniffles.
"Alpha." Megan mumbles as she puts her head in my neck.
"I'm here Kitten." I whisper as I play with My omega's hair. "I've got you."
Megan sniffles then she kisses the mating mark on my neck before she looks up at me.
"Ready to talk Princess?" I ask.
"Yeah."
"First things first." I say. "I want you to move in with Katara and I in San Diego."
"Yes please." Megan says as I softly stroke her cheek with my thumb.
"Secondly, I want you to come to Tokyo and to all future national team camps." I say. "We'll be on my plane so you won't be around crowds and we have the best security in the world for the team so you'll be safe."
"I can come?" Megan hopefully asks.
"I would love for you to come Megan." I say. "I would love to fall asleep with the love of my life in my arms 365 days a year."
"What about Katara?"
"Well she'll probably end up snuggling with you." I say. "You know how much she loves you."
"I love her too." Megan mumbles.
"I know you do Baby." I say then I wipe a tear away.
"Please don't leave me." Megan says as she tightly hugs me
