Megan's POV

"Please wake up baby." I say as I look at my comatose daughter.

Katara still hasn't woken up.

"I need my Kit Kat back." I mumble then I hear a pair of feet coming into my daughter's room.

Cairo and I decided to have Katara moved back home to be cared for by a team of four nurses.

A doctor also visits every other day or when the nurses call them.

"Pizza's here Megan." Becky says.

"Um." I say.

"Go watch Cairo's race and relax for a little bit." Becky says. "I'll watch over Katara with the nurse."

"Alright." I mumble then I kiss Katara's head before I leave the room and head down stairs.

Once downstairs I head to the kitchen, grab a couple slices of pizza and a soda then I head down to the theater room in my home.

"Is it on?" I ask as I walk into the room.

"Almost." Crystal Dunn says as I sit down in-between her and Audrey Solo.

Most of the national team is here in San Diego.

They all want to be here to help out with Katara.

The only national team people who aren't here are Christen and Emma.

Christen can't be here because she's very close to giving birth while Emma isn't cleared to fly yet.

"They're just starting the heats for the men's 1000 meters." Crystal says. "So the final Cairo is in should be up soon."

Cairo's trying for her first gold medal tonight in the women's 500 meters short track race.

During this Olympic's, Cairo's trying to win 6 gold medals.

"Cool." I say then I eat my pizza.

After the first mens men's 1000 meters heat finishes, the tv cuts back to the main host dude then they intro a segment on Cairo.

"I was wondering when they'd do this." I mumble as the title of the mini-documentary on Cairo begins.

The mini-documentary is called 244.

The beginning part of the documentary is about Cairo's early life and all she went through.

The documentary covers Cairo's 2010 Winter Olympics performance where she won 4 golds and a bronze then it covers all that happened in the weeks, months, and years after the Olympics.

Cairo didn't want to relive the trauma she went through so the documentary vaguely covers her parents murder, Cairo's time in Iceland, her beginning time in France, and the death of Katara's mother.

Once all the bad stuff is covered, the documentary covers Cairo managing Lyon and the USWNT then the documentary moves on to Cairo's free diving world record attempt.

"Cairo why do you free dive?" Maria Taylor asks.

"I enjoy it." Cairo says causing some of the girls in the theatre room laugh.

"Why do you think you enjoy it so much?" Maria Taylor asks.

"To be successful you have to forget everything." Cairo says. "You have to leave all your worries, your problems, your everything above the surface otherwise you will die."

"Well that's deep." Ash mumbles.

"It allows me to forget about what I've been through, to destress, and to just be free." Cairo admits.
