Cairo's POV
"Just a few more Ladies." Brad, the team photographer, says as he switches cameras.
Today's team picture day.
For the pictures, my coaching staff, Koda, and I are sat in the front row along with a few other players on either side of us while the rest of the players are standing in two rows behind us.
"Brad can we get a few with all the support staff as well?" I ask.
"Yep." Brad says then he instructs all the support staff where to sit or stand.
Once everyone is where they need to be, Brad finishes up taking pictures then the team and I head over to our bags to change out of our picture clothes and into our clothes for training.
"So what are Megan and Katara doing today?" Hope asks as I change into my tank top and shorts.
"They are seeing some of the sights with Nova." I say. "They should be here any minute though."
"Are you worried for Megan?" Christen asks.
"No." I say. "Because I know Nova will beat the fuck out of anyone who bothers them."
"True." Becky says.
"Cairo?" Mal asks
"Yes?" I say.
"What was the point of that test we took back in November?"
"And what test even was it?" Lindsey asks.
"The test is called the Winslow Assessment and it's a psychology test." I say. "It shows me what kinda of person, player, and teammate you are."
"Oh." Mal says.
"MAMA." My favorite six year old shouts causing me to turn to my left and see my baby running to me.
When Katara gets to me, I pick her up then I toss her into the air a bit.
"How's my baby?" I ask as I catch my little girl.
"Good." Katara says then she rests her head on my shoulder. "Game day time?"
"Game Day?" Sonnett questions as everyone looks at me.
"So since we're probably all still a bit jet lagged I thought that today we could have a game day."
"I am so down." Pinoe says.
"So I have four ideas for games to play." I say. "Kickball, dodgeball, Capture the flag, and finally a good ol fashion water ballon fight."
"Oh heck yes" Sonnett says.
"What team's?" Syd asks.
"That's up to you."
"Ooh."
"But pick wisely." I say. "This'll be your team for the entire day."
"I'll play so the teams are even." Keegan says.
Everyone nods then the teams are decided.
"So who's on what team?" I ask then I write down the teams and the bibs they're wearing.
