I wake up to the sun shining brightly. I smile but it quickly fades as all the thoughts from yesterday appear. The question still haunts me. Why would she send me away? I want to go talk to her but I can't face her after what happened yesterday. I try and fall back asleep but I can't so I grab my computer and start to type Ian, my boyfriend.
Mya- Hey Ian, I have bad news
Ian- What is it Mya?
Mya- My mom is sending me to a far away school
Ian- Oh no. Will I ever see you again.
Mya- I hope so but I honestly have no clue. My mom is getting really un-predictable.
Ian- I have to tell you something.
Mya- What is it???
Before Ian could reply my computer died.
"Ugh!" I look around my room until I find my charger. I start to plug in my computer I but couldn't because my mom hollered for me to come down. When I reached the bottom step I remembered I was mad at her. Before I could run upstairs she gestured for me to sit down.
"Mom I just don't understand..." I say quickly being cut off
"Honey," my mom says quietly, "I need you to listen. What I'm about to tell you is a secret so you can't tell anyone. Understood."
I nod slightly fearing what she was going to say. Why is it a secret. What my mom told me was the most shocking news I'd ever received.
