Author's Pov

In a matter of time, the rain had stopped and it was already dark before Adam finally stepped up on the threshold of his home.
He pulled off his muddy Sneakers before placing it aside.

He felt a sudden change of aura around him and it was really strange.
'Something feels a bit off' He looked into the dark of the night, before his eyes widens in shock. 'Grandma!...' He yelled rushing into the house.

'Grandma!....' He continued,  searching for her, but there was still no response.
When he barged into the bathroom, he saw her lifeless body on the cold floor. She was stabbed severally, lying on her own pool of blood. Her eyes were wide open and dilated.

'No this can't be happening' He fought to hold back the tears forming in his eyes as he slumped down beside the lifeless body and began to sob.

'It's all my fault. I... It's all my fault' He repeated continuously.
She was the only family he had (at least he thought so) and now she's gone too. Life wasn't fair to him.

This crappy thing called LIFE!
