Reader's POV:

It had just gone 8:00pm when you and Billie managed to drag yourselves away from the hotel room. Your legs still trembled slightly, the aftermath of Billie's punishment, as you walked down the street, to a cute little restaurant situated on a small beach just 10 minutes away from the hotel.

You could not for the life of you tear your eyes away from the blonde. She was wearing a short, classy black dress, with a plunging neckline that didn't reveal too much but just enough to make your jaw almost hit the floor, and the way Billie was checking you out every few minutes just showed that she approved of your chosen outfit, a dark red dress with a small slit in the side. You wanted to look nice for Billie seen as the only clothes she ever saw you in was your plain school uniform.

Billie reached out a hand, her slender fingers interlinking perfectly with yours as you made your way down the path that led towards the restaurant. As soon as you entered, the warmth within the establishment hit you straight away, making your cheeks turn a light shade of pink, or maybe that was down to the waiter and his wandering eyes as he approached the two of you.

"Table for two?" He asked, just about managing to tear his eyes away for your chest and fixing them on Billie.

The blonde shot him a cool, icy glare, retracting her hand from yours and slipping it around your waist, pulling you flush against her side. "Yes." She uttered through a tight lipped smile.

"This way ma'am." You both followed him to a table in front of the window with a lovely view of the ocean. He handed you some menus and informed you that he would be back to take your order in a couple of minutes.

"Someone get a little bit jealous back there?" You teased, eyes focused intently on the older woman as she took a seat opposite you.

Her brow quirked up, eyes finding yours as her tongue briefly swiped across her lips. "I don't know what you're talking about." She shrugged nonchalantly, but there was a subtle smirk pulling at the corners of her mouth.

Without thinking you playfully rolled your eyes, catching Billie's attention as she clasped her hands together in front of her, the smirk she previously held slowly dissipating, replaced with mild irritation and maybe just a sliver of amusement.

The tension settled on you both like a fuzzy blanket, cheeks flushed as you uncrossed your legs underneath the table, repositioning them and accidentally brushing Billie's leg in the process.

The waiter suddenly reappeared, breaking the silence. His presence completely ruining the vibe and making you shift nervously under his gaze. "So what can I get you both?" His question was directed at the two of you, however his gaze was fixed only on you. You hadn't even had chance to look through the menu, but luckily the blonde claimed the waiter's attention as she spoke up, giving you chance to scan the very elaborate menu.

"I'll have Chicken Alfredo with a white wine, and my girlfriend will have..?" There was a clear emphasis on the word 'girlfriend' and your head abruptly snapped up to meet Billie's gaze across the table. Her eyes twinkled under the dim lights, a soft smirk tugging at her lips as you scrambled for a response. Did she really just openly call you her girlfriend? Your heart sped up as butterflies fluttered around inside your tummy. Suddenly, you felt exposed under the gaze of both Billie and the waiter, quickly pulling yourself out of your flustered state long enough to address the man beside you.
