yes it has been finished January 2022 and the sad ending was August 2021..I couldn't bring myself to finish this one after thinking of the sad one so much I'm sorry 🥲
While waiting outside the ER, Sapnap and Quackity heard "relatives of Karl Jacobs?" called out to the room.
"Here, here!" Sapnap semi-shouted, rushing over to the lady, with Quackity right behind him. "Is Kar okay?"
"He should be fine, it's was a pretty mild concussion. He was lucky, most people in these altercations end up even more injured." The nurse said.
"Well, when can we see him?" Quackity quickly asked, holding onto Karl's favorite hair clip. Q was hoping to give it to his husband so hewould feel less nervous.
"Uhh, right now actually! I'll show you to his room, he just got located to it. Be quiet though, he is very sensitive right now."
Sapnap and Quackity nodded, following the lady down to room 947.
They saw a doctor talking to a barely conscious Karl, and another doctor leaving.
"Pandas..? Quackity..?" Karl mumbled. He was tired, they could tell.
"He's awake, as you can see." The nurse smiled. "Luckily too, many people in this situation don't wake up for about 2-3 days."
Karl stared at his fiancé's, a sad look in his eyes. "I'm sorry, I should've been more careful and I should have told you and-"
Quackity shushed him. "It's okay, it's okay. All that matters is that you aren't badly hurt."
Sapnap gave Karl a quick kiss before going to speak to the doctors, Quackity staying with Karl and comforting the man. They both knew Karl didn't like hospitals.
"So, Doc, he's okay right?" Sapnap asked, unable to stay still with the worry flowing his emotions.
"He's going to be fine..but I do have some questions for you."
"What questions?"
"Well..can one of you come with me to the other room? I don't want to stress the patient out by accident.."
"Okay, I'll be back then," Quackity said as he left the room. "What was the question?"
"Well..Mr. Jacobs seems to be malnourished, and we found some cuts on his body..they looked self-inflicted, but we didn't want to make any assumptions. does he perhaps have a pet that would have cause lots of cuts and scratches on his arms and legs?"
"Well, he was recently working with lots of animals for a YouTube video with his friend..but other than that, I don't recall him telling us about any pets or animals in general he would have been around.."
"Okay, and about him being malnourished..did you know anything about this?" the nurse asked.
"Well, no, he hasn't been eating that much recently, but I didn't know it was bad.." Quackity sighed. "Is he gonna be okay?"
"He'll be fine, we just need to be sure he is stable enough to go home. He may have to go to therapy."
Quackity nodded. "Okay, thank you miss..oh, was there anything else you wanted to ask?"
"No, no, we're all done here, thank you sir!" the nurse smiled and walked away.
Quackity went back into Karl's room to be with his fiancé's, and saw them laughing and smiling.
"Hey Karl, how are you doing?"
"I'm okay..I love you two, so much" Karl said through a grin
"Awww, we love you too Karl!" Quackity replied, sitting down next to Karl.
(3 days later)
"Okay, he should be good to go home, however if he comes back again malnourished he's gonna be sent to even more therapy and possibly a psychiatric ward."
"Okay, thank you Doctor"
"I'm finally home!" Karl exclaimed, happy he could finally be comfortable again.
"Yes, yes you are..and we're gonna stay with you through at least 1 meal per day, we don't want you to go back to the hospital" Q said, giving Karl a little kiss.
"And we're gonna get you some self defence classes, so you don't get hurt again. We should've done that earlier, I'm just an idiot and didn't think to bring you to any of my classes.." Sapnap sighed
"Sapnap, it isn't your fault..I never thought of it either, and I didn't say I wanted or needed self defence classes, you wouldn't have known..don't be sad" Karl said softly.
"..okay, I love you" Sapnap smiled
"Love you too!" Karl replied, giving Sapnap a little kiss.
"What about me?" Quackity whined, pretended to be sad.
"I love you too!" Karl said, giving both Sapnap and Quackity a kiss.
"I love you"
Might not be that good, but just wanted to finish this :D
