Quentin was startled awake. He jumped up from the ground, tensing up. There's footsteps in the hallway. Even though he blocked the doorway, he wouldn't count on it.

Who... who is it...?! Quentin wondered as sweat went down his forehead. Gluttony is dead... He has to be... If it's not Gluttony then who? "Shooting Star." He muttered.

He glanced at Ian who is still not awake. He aimed his Artifact towards the door, his heart racing. Quentin wasn't confident that he could protect Ian in this state. They're essentially trapped in a room with no way out if the enemy blocks the doorway.

Seconds passed as sweat dripped down from his chin.

A voice suddenly rang out. "Diligence...? Are you in there?!"

Quentin didn't realize he was holding his breath the entire way out until he let out a huge sigh of relief. "Sloth... thank god..."

"Temperance...? You're there too?" Quentin hears the knob move but with the cabinets in front of it, the door didn't budge. "The door's stuck, I'll get you two out!"

"Let me move the cabinets." Quentin pulled the cabinet away and as soon as the door was cleared, the door flew out. Sloth rushed into the room, clearly stressed out.

"Wha-what happened to Diligence?!" He exclaimed, seeing the state that Ian's in.

"We ran into Gluttony.. It was my fault... I.. I followed him and Ian came down to rescue me..." Quentin said, regretfully. "I patched him up but he's still recovering..."

"You.. ran into Gula? Where is he now?"

"My Artifact, I used to kill him.." Quentin explained. "His body is... his body parts are in the room out in the hall."

Sloth went out and opened the door where Quentin said it was. "Oh no..."

Quentin hurried out to see what Sloth was seeing. There was nothing here. Gluttony's body parts had completely vanished. His eyes widened in shock. "No... no way.." He stepped into the room in disbelief. "I killed him."

"We have to move." Sloth's smoke materialized around him, moving towards Ian. It lifted him up, acting like a bed and cushion for him. "Let's go!" He ran upstairs with Ian and Quentin following closely behind.

"I wasn't sure before but now I can confirm it." Sloth said, while moving. "You can't kill Gula."

"What do you mean you can't kill him?!" The group ran down the series of hallways.

"You can't kill what's already dead."

Gluttony... is already dead?!

They got through the hallways, coming to the large dining area. Quentin can see a large number of bodies lying on the ground.

"I put them to sleep." Sloth said. "Since Gula's not around to control them, they go crazy."

The three easily made it out of the building and Quentin couldn't be more happy to be out. "How.. How did you find us?!"

Sloth scratches his head as he pulls his sleeping mask fully down. "... I don't know actually."

"What do you mean by that?"

Sloth took a few seconds to think before answering. "Something was urging me to come this way." He said. "It felt like... Diligence was in need of help...."

"Can you find the others like this?" Quentin asked, hopefully. "Jason should be able to heal Ian."

Sloth shook his head. "No.. I didn't even know you were here." He sighed. "The best bet is to track Invidia and hope he's with Kindness."

"What about everyone else?!"

"We'll just have to find them the hard way."

Ty felt terrible.

He couldn't rest if he wanted to. Everytime he closes his eyes, he wakes up in a cold sweat just a couple minutes after.

He doesn't even remember what happened.

... How long have I been here?

He glanced down at the dagger Pride gave him. Ty was supposed to get rid of Seto's counterpart in exchange for his help. Even if he finds everyone, he still can't return home until he finishes the deal he made with Pride.

How.. is everyone doing right now?

A sharp pain shot through his head. Ty winced, grabbing his head with his hands. My... My head... He staggered, leaning against a tree for support. The world seems to change shape before him.

His eyes widened as he realized he experienced this before. His surroundings didn't change but at the same time, he felt like he was in a different place. Bodies seemed to appear on the field in front of him. Ty looked in horror as he recognized the bodies.

It was his friends. Everyone, sprawled out and in pools of blood.

"G-guys...?" Ty walked over, trembling. He pinches his cheek, hard and the pain lasts a few seconds. He wasn't dreaming.

"Ha... haha!" Ty wasn't sure why he was laughing. If he wasn't dreaming, then he must be seeing things. He reaches down, expecting to feel nothing. Ty freezes, his fingers wrapping around an arm which was supposed to be impossible.

"Th-this... can't be..." He dropped to his knees. Tears ran down his face. "There's no way..."

A pair of arms drape over Ty's shoulders from behind. "It looks like your friends are precious to you." Pride had somehow appeared, talking in a soft, low voice. "You wouldn't want this to happen, right?"

"No... no I don't..." Ty answered. "This... this isn't real right? Please tell me my senses are lying to me..."

"These are only visions, Humility." Pride said. "But don't worry, I'll be able to help protect your friends."

"H-how?"

A wide smile spread across Pride's face. "All you have to say is that you'll accept my assistance and I'll be able to lend you my powers."

"I accept." Ty said quickly. "I want to find them as soon as possible!"

"Good move... Humility..." Pride's body seemed to fade away as the world morphed again. The darkness cleared and Ty finds himself back in his original place, next to the tree with no bodies in sight.

Strangely, he felt rather refreshed and full of energy. Not only that, he felt more powerful. Ty scowled as his head turned to stare off in the distance. His senses were telling him someone was in that direction. His eyes widened as he realized his eyesight had improved immensely. No, improved was not the word, more like upgraded. From where he's standing he can clearly make out something from what looks like a few miles away.

"Is this what Pride means by helping?!" Ty couldn't believe what he could do. He decided to head to the direction where his senses are telling him to go.

Unbeknown to him, his eyes glowed a purple hue.
