The Chasm is where He lies. It is the focal point where the shaking and quakes were the most violent. It sent out multiple cracks which then spread even more across the realm. There was not a single surface that wasn't touched.

It was clear that the Mirror Realm was fated to collapse from the beginning. Every living being in the realm is doomed to fall into the pits of darkness.

The rumbling was loud-too loud to hear anything else now as everything crumbles apart.

Everyone and everything was falling. No one can see the bottom as it is pitch black.

Greed's bloodied corpse fell with Lust's jacket embracing the Sin. Similarly, the leftovers of Gluttony's body fell alongside the rubble.

The sudden thought of losing Jason terrified Envy. He wanted to apologize but couldn't even glance in his direction. He couldn't protect him. He'd do anything to ensure he was safe in the end but there was nothing that he could do. It was hopeless. He squeezed Jason's arm tightly as tears rolled down his cheeks. He couldn't help but feel dejected as his first friendship was cut short.

Pride couldn't believe it. "I just obtained a new vessel! It wasn't supposed to be like this!" The Sin shouted out in frustration even though no one could hear him. He isn't supposed to die. It's not supposed to end like this. No. He paused in his thinking. I won't die. I can't die. Even if this body isn't entirely under his control, he is still as powerful. He's sure he can survive the merging of the two realms–he just didn't expect it to be something like this. Pride sneered, already able to imagine the others' deaths.

The surface is getting further and further away. Sloth stared upwards, watching as the sky itself also breaks and collapses. He couldn't help but wonder if Ian was awake to see all this. He chuckled, thinking of the shock he'd get as it'll be the first thing he sees when he regains consciousness. "Valerie..." Sloth muttered. "It looks like I have failed you... once again." He closed his eyes. He's going to sleep.

Lust was enraged. The collapse didn't have to happen now. He was going to hunt the Virtues down and kill them, starting with the one who had killed Greed. He had a good feeling about who it was, even if he was wrong, everyone else in the Virtue's group would be next. His mind went back to Greed's last message. 'Don't be mad Lothario'. He took a couple of deep breaths, exhaling slowly. He doesn't know what will happen but he hopes everyone is doomed to die. It wouldn't matter much if he himself survived or not, the more important thing is that the Virtues wouldn't survive. "Well, this isn't so bad..." Lust grinned. "Wait for me, Avaritia!"

Wrath rides a large chunk of ground down, holding Nemesio in place with a hand to make sure that his companion stays with him. His face was expressionless, staring down at the depth. His eyes suddenly widened before his lips pulled back into a snarl. It is Him, after all. He really is awakening. The one that started it all. The one that brought him to existence. The one that cursed him to be a Sin.

Nemesio whimpered as Wrath's aura flared. It was enough to destroy their footing, bringing the two back into freefall. Wrath didn't notice as his face contorted with anger and rage.

All the conscious Sins instantly realize who this presence belongs to even if they never felt it before.

"It's Him." Wrath growled.

Lust laughed with a grin. "He is finally here!"

Sloth immediately woke up, feeling cold sweat.

"Tsk..." Pride doesn't look pleased. "That has to be..."

"No..." Envy whispered. "It can't be..."

"Father!" The Sins exclaimed.

The Mirror Realm continued to collapse. The entire realm purged into darkness as it finally falls apart.

Ian felt like he was dreaming. No, it felt like a lost memory that's resurfacing after years.

No. Ian thought to himself. That's not right either.

He doesn't know where he is but at the same time, he remembers coming to this place. The large building seems to loom over him as he looks up at it.

What's... happening...?

Ian couldn't speak nor was he in control of anything. Suddenly his surroundings changed, now he was inside the building. He noticed six other figures all gathered in a single room.

Who... are they? He couldn't make them out clearly and their voices were muffled even though he was in the same room as them.

The scene changed once again, now standing in a field. There was a girl in front of him. Unlike the other figures, her face is clear.

The girl had long brown hair and indigo-colored eyes. She was talking and Ian could hear her speaking.

"Hey, hey, tell me what I should call you."

"Acedia." Ian was confused. He was speaking but this isn't his voice and it doesn't make any sense at all.

"No, I meant like a real name! Names are supposed to be your own, not a title or anything."

"... my name... is..." Ian's words were breaking out as the scene slowly changed into another. The same thing was happening to her as well.

"...wonder if... name... yourself... or... your name... life."

".... na... me?"

"... want... know... name?"

The next words out of her mouth were loud and clear. "My name is Valerie."

Who are you....?! Ian wanted to ask but couldn't. He watches as everything changes once again. His surroundings were blurred and gray but it was obvious he was in another area.

Something was off.

Terribly wrong.

His eyes slowly travel down, looking down at his outstretched hands and body. He was covered in blood. Book soaked his clothes and stained his fingers and palms red.

It was a vibrant red.

No. This isn't real. Ian told himself quickly, trying to fight the panic rising within him. His bloody hands shook as the world froze around him. Even if this wasn't real, the emotions he felt were real.

The body of the girl from before is in front of him, laying in a pool of blood.

No...... this isn't my memory...! Ian's heart felt like it was going to explode. He can feel it thumping against his chest, beating faster and faster. His vision blurred to the point that all he could see was red. This is not me!

Ian started coughing violently, dropping down to his knees. His hand went to his own throat. He couldn't breathe. He was choking. He felt his eyes tearing up as he struggled to breathe.

All of the sudden, his head started spinning as his surroundings changed rapidly. One second he is sitting down on a tree bark, the next he was floating in the middle of a lake. His location keeps changing without any sign of it stopping. He couldn't keep count of the numerous blurred faces that flashes into his mind. People were talking to him, all at the same time but at different points. Their voices and words overlap with one another.

Within these changes, he saw himself dying. No, he was remembering himself dying. The pain–the feeling–he remembered that as well. He was dying over and over and over again.

It was too much. Way too much.

Ian screamed out in agony, hoping that this nightmare would end.
