42: Eyes

"The awakening of our Father." Lust exclaimed

Envy eyes widen at the mention of the name. "Our Father... you don't mean...!"

"Oh~ That's right. You're the youngest." Lust said. "But you should know about your own origins."

The other scowled deeply. "I know we exist because of him. He disappeared at the beginning of time."

"That's all you know?" Lust shaked his head in disappointment. "Our Father.... I don't know what he looks like or how he is. But I can feel it...."

"F-feel what?"

"His power. His aura." Lust smiled widely, spreading out his arms. "It's growing as every minute passes by. I don't know what his abilities are but it's far superior than all of us."

"You're lying... I don't feel anything." Envy shouted. "You're making this all up."

"Lying? Making it all up?" Lust smirked. "You're afraid of the truth, Invidia."

"Once Father awakens, your little relationship with that Virtue will be over." He continued. "He won't be happy hearing a Sin protecting a Virtue."

Envy glared at him. "What... are you trying to say?"

"Open up a ripple for me." Lust said, walking towards Envy. "I'll keep my mouth shut for the time being."

"You...."

Lust patted Envy's shoulder, smirking. "What do you say, Invidia....?"

Envy is left alone, recalling Lust's words. He was forced to open up a ripple for him.

"If what Lust said is true, Kindness will be in danger..." A wave of frustration and anger hits him as he remembers that Kindness is with the others. "I have to get Kindness back before I can do anything but that Sorcerer..."

The mirror version of him had the same aura and feel. Envy had never faced him before as he avoided him once he felt like he was near.

Will.... Will I be able to defeat him...?

The other Virtue doesn't seem like a threat. From what he can tell, none of the Virtues have unlocked their abilities. The sorcerer is his main concern.

"Kindness..." He muttered. "I'll take you back..."

Jimmy felt a sensation and he looked around. It felt familiar but he couldn't remember why. What just happened? He wondered.

'He... is here...'

"Here...? Who's here?" Jimmy's eyes widen. "Is it Herobrine? He's awake!?"

'No... the one with Dragon Eyes... Superbia.'

Jimmy froze as he heard of the name. His goal was to obtain the Dragon Eyes for himself. The problem was that Superbia was missing. The entrance to the realm of the End was destroyed and he had no other way to get into the realm.

"Superbia..." His hands trembled with excitement as he touched his face, tracing the diagonal scar that ran through his right eye. "If you're here, my eye of Ender can track you..." His orange eyes glowed before his right eye slowly morphed into a black silt, turning the eye into a hue of dark green and blue.

"Everything's coming together so perfectly...." He smiled widely at what's to come. "If I get my hands on the Dragon Eyes, I will be complete."
